- The Will Vail Quartet made its debut on television this afternoon! A huge thanks to @arizonamidday for having us on the show, it was awesome to play music for Arizonans all around the valley and we’re incredibly thankful for this opportunity. Come see us perform at Mesa Amplified this Saturday! We’ll be on the main stage close to 3:00PM, but make sure to come see all the other local talent onstage starting at 12:00PM. You won’t want to miss it, it’s free! @mesaamplified #phoenix #arizonamusic #mesaaz #livejazz

- Second Semester Recap I can’t believe the first year is already over! Thank you to every face who I’ve had the chance to get to know both on and off the bandstand—I’m really starting to feel like I’ve found my tribe, and I can’t express how much that means to me. H.A.G.S 🫶

- First Semester Recap Going to ASU has probably been one of the, if not THE best decision I’ve made in my life. From the moment I stepped on campus, I’ve felt a strong sense of adventure, belonging, and community among myself and my fellow musicians. I didn’t come to this school with much—I didn’t have many friends, a strong musical culture in my hometown, nor much confidence in my own ability to play. I can wholeheartedly say that these grievances have been resolved tenfold—I’m constantly surrounded by amazing people, musician or otherwise, and although I’m still working on my sound, I’ve felt an insane amount of growth that I can only contribute to my friends, family, and my mentor @corcoranholt who I am so incredibly grateful for. In the past few months I’ve also built an extensive and ever-growing portfolio of professional work! Being a professional musician is my dream, and going from an unpaid student to a regularly-hired professional musician has exposed me to the kind of life that I’ve craved for a long time. I had never been to a jam session, and the thought of going to Cornish Pasty (šŸ“7 W Monroe St) scared me to death, being so vulnerable in front of a consistent crowd of skilled musicians. And as of last night, I was called to play in the house band. How surreal is that? Pictured are some of my closest friends and collaborators—I’m sorry if I didn’t include you! šŸ“ø Photo Credits : Slide 1: @_.aeromar_ Slide 5: @ryannealcordwell Slide 15: @junipop247

- Michael Kocour Jazz Combo 10/09/2025 First combo concert of the year! Though it’s only been a couple of months, studying music at ASU has taught me many lessons about humility, humanity, and strong musicianship, and I’m dearly grateful that I’m able to share the bandstand with this amazing group. Playing with so many skilled musicians continues to inspire me every day, and I look forward to learning from my peers and mentors as the years go on. Thank you to everyone who came out! šŸ“ø: @cesolini_photos

- Did a photoshoot with @jhamilton_photos yesterday, and they came out so well! These are some of—if not—the best photos I’ve ever gotten in my life; please book a shooting with her if you’ve been thinking about getting your senior photos taken.
