Thank you @manos.manos.manos For including my work “Théorie” (2011) in Almost Blue ! About the project: After beginning its journey in March across various locations in Milan, the Almost Blue project unfolds in São Paulo starting in April. Investigating “precarious solidarities” and the Zapatista concept of pluriverse, the exhibition proposes a geography of instability. Through the works and gestures of the participating artists, the project questions what forms of knowledge emerge when refusal is not a deviation, but part of the method? Curated by Manos @manos.manos.manos the program occupies the city in a constellation of spaces, including the Unesp Library and the studios of Maíra Dietrich and Thomaz Rosa, in the Lasar Segall Building, presenting works by artists such as Rina Oh, Yue Yuan, Andrea Gallotti, Giorgio Cellini, Maíra Dietrich, Stefano De Paolis, Camila Oliveira Fairclough @c.o.f ,Rébecca Fairclough Van der Meulen, Alessandro Manfrin, Francesca Brugola, Jaehun Kim, Daniel Lannes, Beatrice Zito and Davide Bertocchi. The project concludes in Orlando between April 15 and May 15, with works by Ryan Gander, Marco Sgarbossa, Thomaz Rosa, Rébecca Fairclough Van der Meulen, A.i.f. and Victor Unwin. #almostblue Curated by @manos.manos.manos @andreaistvanfranzini 🙏 💙✨

For the 2025 edition of Paris Internationale, MORE Projects @more_projects once again composes, with many hands, a new arrangement. Inviting Georges J. Ayrault @georges.ju.ay as the lead instrumentalist, the collective orchestrates a proposition that amplifies not a single but a multitude of voices. The opportunity of participation is extended as a plural and expansible invitation, addressing the invitee not as someone but as a sum, an ensemble. From there arises a piece, carried out by a chorus, reverberating beyond the building’s walls. Dove (2022-25) Cut-out holograms of Visa bank cards, nails. 1 cm x 1 cm x 1.5 cm Cut-out images to isolate the holographic doves that appears on our bank cards. The juxtaposition between the symbolism of the dove-peace, freedom-hope and the object of consumption and indebtedness that is the bank card creates a powerful contrast. The work questions our perception as almost invisible, but also the idea of freedom in a society based on credit. The exhibition Hanami brings together artists such as Davide Bertocchi, Clément Bouteille, Fredéric Houvert, Yveline Loiseur, Rose Lowder and Laurent Masoero. As you enter, your gaze plunges into a large basin that follows the contours of La BF15. This huge vase is home to compositions by florist and botanist Clément Bouteille. A Conversation of Flowers is established day by day between the flowers and the given space. Photographs by Yveline Loiseur, from the series The Language of Flowers and of the mute Things, weave together stories of life, from childhood to old age. Around them, Frédéric Houvert's plant motifs disappear under the effect of superimposition in an allover that annihilates gesture and narrative. Hugo Pernet's vanitas are just around the corner. When painting becomes an image, we have the impression of seeing it through a filter: that of art history and its digestion by mass culture. But the painting is always presented to us in the first degree, because Hugo Pernet considers it to be a readymade. Alongside them, Laurent Masoero's minimalist, monochrome vegetation makes a statement. The parallels with “modern” typographic forms come naturally to mind. Not far away, the Rose Lowder's films catch the eye in a retinal, almost subliminal game. Bouquet n°2 (1994), is one of a series of images composed in the camera during the “filming” process. Under the glass roof, Angela Detanico and Rafael Lain's video installation Or, takes as its starting point Jan Davidsz de Heem's painting “Fleurs dans un vase en verre” (ca. 1660). Like an hourglass, the two projected images are based on the subtraction and addition of colors. In the air floats Davide Bertocchi's perfume, a random fragrance from the Mille Fleurs container at Azur Fragrances industry. This vat collects all the excess perfume produced in the workshop. On the floor, his Piramidi, paper filters for Patchouli essential oil, form a constellation of pyramidal, olfactory and metaphysical shapes… Curated by @lacroix.perrine ✨🙏 #LASTDAY @labf15 @yvelineloiseur #roselowder @laurent_masoero @frederic.houvert @hugoopernet @detanicolain @clement.bouteille #hanami 🌸

Spazio (1999 - ongoing) inkjet print on photo paper mounted on Polyplat. As part of “Passaggi Paesaggi - Fotografia Italiana dalle collezioni di Fondazione Ago” and in the collection of @agomodenafacultura curated by @dalloliochiara @danieledeluigi75 The installation currently consists of 3000 images each 7,5 x 4,5 cm. Every photo represents an imaginary planet or astronomical site created by the artist, although their existence cannot be ruled out as our knowledge of the Universe is still relatively limited. Each image is different and the work is an “infinte” work in progress. My recent contribution for « Sante » a quite unique exhibition conceived around the small lake at Giardini Margherita in Bologna, as part of Art City, last February. This ephemeral event curated by the artistic duo Cuoghi Corsello brought together ‘souls akin to the virtues of saints’: visual artists, musicians, performers, and curators invited to engage freely with the depth of the lake, and ‘with its mysterious, scorpion-like emanations’… In Cuoghi Corsello’s vision, ‘artists are saints’ because ‘they have free access to the other side, to the sacred undifferentiated whole.’ Like figurines in a nativity scene, placed in the lake and along its shores, they engaged the audience in a creative ritual through actions, sounds, objects, and installations. Participants: Bianca Zueneli, Claudio Corsello, Davide Bertocchi, Dina Loudmer, Margherita Morgantin, Mariavittoria Pagani, Michele Fontana, Monica Cuoghi, Gioele Maleandri, Giovanni Copelli, Italo Zuffi, Ottavia Zanello, Rebecca Griffith, Samuele Bartolini, Stefania Galegati, Viola Cenacchi, Zheng Ningyuan. «Elixir (Santità Tossica)» 2025 100 glass bottles, cork, water from the lake in Giardini Margherita (Bologna), bacteria, and turtle feces. + 1 inkjet color print from analog photo on satin paper 20 x 24 cm A multiple artwork consisting of 100 small glass bottles, each containing 5 ml of water from the lake in Giardini Margherita, which is notoriously toxic due to contamination from turtle feces and other pollutants. Each bottle serves as a relic—a paradoxical fusion of sacredness, contamination, and ready-made art—evoking the contrast between the divine and the poisonous. The work invites viewers to reflect on the symbolic power of water and its dual ability to purify or contaminate, prompting questions about the boundaries of faith, purity, and pollution in contemporary society. As a performative act, I distributed all 100 bottles to visitors until they were completely depleted. « SANTE » curated by Cuoghi Corsello @pibrain8 @claudiocorsello / @carlottapescecocchi @artcitybologna Photo credits: Monica Cuoghi - Paola Squizzato - Stefano Pasquini @stefpasquini

Passato, Futuro (2007) modified 70’s alarm clock. variable dimensions Original 70’s alarm clock modified by the artist in order to have a time constantly changing following an unpredictable random logic. The possibilities of catching the real time - the present - are thus very minimal. The “present time” parameter almost disappears from our common notion of time and according to quantum physics probability starts where random time appears. #random #sinchronize

Dear friends, We are pleased to announce that with MORE Projects @more_projects we are participating in Paris Internationale ! @aaaahhhparisinternationale From October 16 to 20, 2024 Preview on October 15 Booth on the 5th floor 17, Rue du Faubourg Poissonnière 75009 Paris Showcasing the work of Camila Farina @camilafarinacamila Michele Bubacco @michelebubacco Alejandro Garcia Contreras @alejandrogarciacontreras Charlemagne Palestine @charlemagnepalestine More information below. For any additional requests, please write to [email protected] We look forward to seeing you on this occasion @aaaahhhparisinternationale ✨ Best regards, MORE Projects MORE Projects presents the works of four artists encountered during different art residencies in Paris. Camila Farina (Paris), Michele Bubacco (Venice), Alejandro Garcia Contreras (Guadalajara) and Charlemagne Palestine (NY/Brussels) each cultivate a profound, affective relationship with materials and the excess they generate. Camila Farina expansively and obsessively repeats phantom architectural motifs across vast canvas, delineating absurd and fragile spaces that accommodate the projection of her personal fixations, whether disquieting or reassuring. Michele Bubacco reappropriates existing images, which he layers, erases, or censors in paintings that feature expressive lines and unstable iconographies, using humor as a strategy of disruption. Alejandro Garcia Contreras’s sculptural assemblages — vases swollen and saturated with matter — simultaneously altars and receptacles for his fantasies, perhaps also reflects society’s own, caught between violent impulses and the incessant search for sensuality. Legendary artist and composer Charlemagne Palestine expands the concept of the booth on the terrace of the 5th floor with a sound piece in dialogue with the Parisian skyline. For all three artists, their engagement with materiality is far from superficial. Each additional gesture is not excessive but rather a potential avenue for formal and conceptual emancipation from the systems and frameworks that hierarchize and assign value to art. Exhibition ended! Thank you again dear public for visiting our exhibition and making these masks look so incredible !!! LES FANTÔMES AU THÉÂTRE ÇA FAIT RIRE Davide Bertocchi & Yasutoshi Kurokami La Capsule - Centre Pompidou-Metz @centrepompidoumetz_ From the archives of the theater work of André Masson, Davide Bertocchi and Yasutoshi Kurokami have produced a film combining historical documents and animation. On the walls, the artists reinterpret drawings of masks from Masson’s repertoire in the form of bas-reliefs. The non-hardening plasticine used for modeling allows visitors to transform the faces with their hands, collectively creating an infinite work in progress. Exhibition from 01.06 - 22.09.24 🙏 special thanks to @chiaraparisi9900 @amguib @yosh_kurokami #AndréMasson and all the great team of @centrepompidoumetz_
