Looking back at Victor Novak’s immersive performance at Espace Qartier, presented as part of the DAILY exhibition, curated by François de Coninck.
For one evening, the metro space was transformed into a suspended sonic experience, blending violin, electronic textures, and fragments of everyday life. Inspired by urban flows, repetitive gestures, and the sounds of the subway, the performance created a moment of pause within constant movement.
Through deep bass, immersive melodies, and sound material drawn from reality itself, Victor Novak proposed another way of inhabiting public space ; more sensitive, attentive, and collective.

DAILY invests a familiar space: the metro. Every day, hundreds of people pass through, absorbed in routine and screens. DAILY pauses this rhythm, offering a moment for reading, reflection, and thought.The exhibition mainly features « text artists »: here, words become images, text becomes artwork. By making language tangible and visual, DAILY invites us to reconsider our relationship with words — amid work, travel, and daydreams.
The exhibition, featuring works by 6 artists, will be open to the public from December 11 until May 2025.

Nocturne explores the reality of nocturnal journeys through the eyes and experience of six artists. The project is rooted in a universal and urgent theme: the place of women in public space at night.
The night is both a territory of emancipation and of threat, a time when freedom and insecurity, excitement and vigilance, come together. NOCTURNÆ aims to capture these dualities through works that combine urban poetry, photography, embroidery, illustration and light installations.
