Shout out to him for ALWAYS finding a way to include other artists on the payroll whenever he can. My first time fully advancing and managing an artist on an orchestral show, so shout out to that. Heatwave Sessions is a post–Jazz Fest night series presented by glbl wrmng, taking over 3 One One 6 (3116 St. Claude Ave) with a late night blend of live band performance, DJ energy, and New Orleans-rooted culture in motion. It’s built for the after-hours crowd that still wants music with substance, where the festival ends but the real conversation in sound continues. Each edition brings together a curated lineup of artists pushing different corners of the culture forward. For Jazzfest weekend 1, this installment features DJ Ghazi Gamali, delivering a sharp, genre bending live set rooted in rhythm and experimentation; Leaux Fye Tribe, bringing collective live band energy, percussion, and a heavy dose of ancestral bounce; and Neesha, closing the night with a soulful, high impact performance that bridges R&B, hip-hop, and raw emotional delivery. More than a show, Heatwave Sessions is a gathering point for artists, DJs, and community moving in the same room, carrying the spirit of Jazz Fest into a more intimate, sweat-soaked, after-midnight space. We attended the NOLA Public School’s spring summit on student safety. Shout out to Superintendent Fulmore dr.fulmore, Dr Kelli Jordan @drkellijordan , and their teams for putting together an impactful and student-led event. We were able listen and learn from the student advisory team. We’re looking forward to connecting deeper with them, their parents, and school staff to insure our schools are safe spaces for our students, on all levels! #studentsafety #ovnvforthekids #publicschoolsafety
