new sonic offering for you: a mix up for one of my favorite platforms @truantsblog for their new series, truancy sessions 💫 big thanks + gratitude to @villella303 for the invite (and also patience in me getting this ready lol) ʚ♡ɞ the incredible artwork is by @kushlet ! also in the slides is a little photo diary of last year ~ this mix is a cruise through some records I know I’ll love forever – rolling, percussive, driving, and euphoric sounds. put it on for a nice drive, a long run, getting ready for a party, or maybe just to hype up your work day. ꩜ i’ve been wanting to make a mix like this for awhile that dips more into timeless grooves, long blends, and bliss. it’s reflective of my headspace lately, feeling quite slow and introspective while also reeling from the horrific genocide and injustice ongoing in the world. so i haven’t been able to listen to anything too bassy or chaotic…the mix reflects the sounds i reach for to self-soothe, in a way 𓇢𓆸 anyway novel over, i’m screaming inside to be able to share this mix with you all! truants has been one of my favorite blogs / music publications for a long time. hope this hour and twenty four minutes locks you in, makes you feel good, and is something you can come back to. link to mix and truants blog post is where the links are ❀

Parameter 10 Year Anniversary Night 1: Digital Mystikz Mala and Coki join us for their first San Francisco appearance together in over a decade. As founders of the legendary DMZ label and club night, their influence on bass music is immeasurable. We were fortunate to host Mala for the Deep Medi 10 year tour in 2016 and Coki in 2018 and have always wanted to bring them back together for a special Digital Mystikz set. Many of the artists we've brought throughout the years cite the DMZ nights and releases as their largest source of inspiration, and there's a good chance that our night simply would not exist if it weren't for them. We're incredibly thankful to have them kicking off our 10 year anniversary weekender on Thursday, May 15th with an extended set at Public Works. N/A Sound and Thought Society will be providing their full sound systems for this special night - which features over a dozen custom built subs from JTR and mains from Danley Sound Labs. It will be a rare stateside opportunity to hear and feel this music the way it's meant to be. N/A and Thought Society's own Psyop and Dropper will also be opening the night alongside a local favorite of ours - Club Moniker resident Suade. sharing my set from sunset campout earlier this year 🫧 it was the penultimate set of the festival and there’s a certain feeling in the air on the closing night of a marathon weekend that’s hard to describe. i feel lucky to have been part of it and share in moments like this of pure communal joy ! thank you @sunsetsoundsystem ♡ i really just wanted to have fun for this so 90 minutes of tracks that make you move, big sounds for the speaker demons, tunes i rinsed all year ;p set is uploaded on my soundcloud
