💫Urban Reliquary- Fragments of us, beauty with meaning .
💫I have wanted to work with Justine for such a long time. I’ve watched her grow and refine her craft over the years, each creation becoming more extraordinary than the last. She truly is a cake atelier👌🏽💫🥀
I actually wrote a little bio on her the first time I saw one of her incredible sculptural cake busts — I was so struck by the artistry.
When I asked her to join the project, we wanted to create something worthy of the space — a 1.5 metre cake, dusted and textured to resemble plaster relief, with intricate detailing echoing the architecture around us.
Set within the soft Turner-toned palette of the Garrison, it felt less like a cake and more like a sculpture — a striking centrepiece and a true piece of edible art.
A breathtaking testament to Justine’s extraordinary talent. Thank you so much Justine 🧚♀️💫🥀

Urban Reliquary. Fragments of Us.
So grateful to have been part of this editorial, creating alongside some incredibly talented creatives and genuinely beautiful human beings. The kind of collaboration that reminds you why you love what you do, and the kind of team you just know you’ll cross paths with again.
This shoot was about modern bridal, but also about memory, heritage and identity. A conversation between past and present, where history isn’t simply preserved, but reimagined.
The Garrison Project began as @styledbysissy ‘s passion project rooted in purpose and intention. More than a location or an editorial concept, it became a dialogue: between tradition and reinvention, between ritual and rebellion, between the quiet authority of history and the vibrant, multicultural pulse of London today.
Urban Reliquary explores the beauty of fragments - the pieces of culture, ancestry, style and story that shape who we are. Stone and silk, skin and structure, history and modern bridal existing in the same breath. Beauty with meaning.
Thankful to have created something so thoughtful with people who bring both artistry and heart to the table.
More from this day soon.

🧚♀️💫Working with Nichola @grove.flora is always such a pleasure. For this editorial, we began by exploring heritage, ritual and the traditional blooms and colours often seen within South Asian weddings, reimagining them in a more contemporary and sculptural way. 🧚♀️💫
Woven and plaited grasses intertwined through the florals, tiny ornamental flowers were delicately strung together, whilst fruits 🍈 symbolic as offerings, were positioned playfully throughout the space to create something whimsical, layered and deeply symbolic. 🌼 🍊 🌺

🧚♀️✨March and April blurred together, a rush of moments stitched into one. Birthdays and meeting friends folded into venue recs, mini shoots and new shoes, and taking time out to cook for friends. Long conversations with people who just get it, new faces but familiar energy, ✨✨creatives moving in the same rhythm. It’s been full in the best way, busy, fast and gone in the blink of an eye 🤯🤦🏽♀️From mazes to miniature horses, it’s all become part of the same story, and just like that it’s gone by. Can’t wait to get stuck into May ✨

🧚♀️✨When @bylukewoodford asked me to bring parachutes to Peacehaven for a shoot, with the idea of transforming them into a dress for the model.I knew it needed something more.
🧚♀️✨It felt like the perfect moment to collaborate with @nathalie.frost whose work I’ve admired for a long time.
🧚♀️✨ @nathalie.frost is a Welsh artist whose work sits somewhere between sculpture and textile design.
She’s known for creating intricate, hand-built pieces using materials like shells, wire, mesh, fabric, and found natural elements. Her work often feels organic and almost otherworldly, delicate, web-like structures that look as though they’ve grown rather than been made. There’s a strong coastal influence running through it, especially in her use of shells and textures that echo erosion, tide lines, and natural formations.
A big part of her practice explores themes of ageing, femininity, and the body, something she openly references in her bio (“Ageing… let’s discuss”). Rather than hiding or softening those ideas, her work leans into fragility and imperfection, turning them into something intricate and powerful. 🧚♀️✨
🧚♀️✨So often, wedding dresses carry hidden mementos, small details sewn into them that hold meaning. This became a way of reimagining that idea, translating art into something embodied.
🧚♀️✨Wearable pieces. Layers of story. Something sculptural, unexpected, and deeply personal

🧚♀️✨One of my favourite spaces in London — the British Museum.
The architecture alone is something else… the iconic Great Court, reimagined by Norman Foster, with that extraordinary glass roof flooding the space with light, mind blowing, it never gets old.
I kept thinking about how to soften something so monumental.Introducing sculptural columns — layered, textural, almost cloud-like — to carve out intimate moments within such a vast space.
Keeping everything tonal, drawing from the marble palette, letting the light do the work.
Soft, immersive, but still grounded in the structure of the building itself.
One of my favourite spaces in London — the British Museum I’m coming for you 🧚♀️✨
