Australian Fashion Week — the highlight of every fashion lover’s calendar and a reminder of just how powerful Australian fashion truly is.
An opportunity to be surrounded by visionary designers, fashion peers, friends, creativity and the shared joy that fashion and personal style bring into our lives. A space where individuality is celebrated and self-expression takes centre stage.
After more than 20 years of working in and attending Fashion Week, the excitement never fades. The energy, the anticipation, the runway moments and the inspiration still give me the same rush every single season.
This year, I had the incredible honour of attending the Welcome to Country and experiencing the first Indigenous runway show of the day, a truly moving and inspiring moment celebrating culture, storytelling and Australian design.
Day one, night one also brought the absolute honour of being invited to attend the @carlazampatti runway show. An incredible showcase from such an iconic Australian brand that we have loved, supported and styled with our clients for many years. The collection, the atmosphere and the energy on the runway made it such a memorable way to begin Australian Fashion Week.
From walking the streets of Paddington between shows, places that hold so many memories from my years living there, to returning to Fashion Week for The Edit and discovering the latest collections from emerging and established Australian designers, every moment felt special.
For me, Australian Fashion Week is about more than trends. It’s about supporting our local fashion industry, championing Australian fashion labels and celebrating the creativity that keeps our industry thriving.

Australian Fashion Week continues to highlight the creativity, innovation and future of Australian fashion, and it’s been such an honour to attend, create content, and connect with so many talented people within the industry.
Ending the week against the iconic Sydney Harbour backdrop felt like the perfect close before heading home to Melbourne…..Until next season.
