The EMCA Awards reminded me of something I will forever stand on: excellence is not optional when you carry God’s name. As Christians, we don’t just “show up” we represent a Father who owns the world. So whatever we do, we do it with excellence, integrity, creativity and honor. That’s why I push myself, challenge myself, and show up fully in every space God places me in. This year’s awards touched me in a special way. So many vendors, stylists, creatives and leaders boldly acknowledged that God is the giver of every gift, every open door, every opportunity, and every level we reach. Hearing that wasn’t just inspiring it was a reminder that we are vessels. God pours, and we steward. He gives, and we multiply. He anoints, and we execute. The @emcaawards owes me absolutely nothing! What an incredible show. My heart is so full. I genuinely love this industry, and I’m honored to connect with people who are just as passionate and driven as I am. Hearing the stories, sacrifices, and levels of dedication everyone puts into their craft just to make sure our clients feel beautiful and valued… that alone reminds me why the sacrifices are worth it. @hair_chemistrymiami @chemxstudio you both are true visionaries. I love people who don’t limit themselves to just hair, makeup, planning, or videography, but use their gifts as stepping stones into bigger creative purposes. That’s the real definition of elevation. One of my favorite parts of the night was listening to everyone’s unique journey, and seeing how many people acknowledged the Giver of every gift Jesus Christ.
