From growing up together, serving in God’s house, winning souls, praying and fasting, to now walking through marriage and motherhood God knew exactly what we needed when He brought us together. Thank you for being such a thoughtful, dependable friend. Even in your busiest season, you still make time for me helping me put looks together and making sure I step out feeling confident (yes, I’ve been looking cute lately because of you 😭✨). That kind of love doesn’t go unnoticed. We’ve been through highs, lows, and everything in between, but by God’s grace, we’re still here and I’m so grateful for how far He’s brought us and where He’s taking us. My prayers on the mountain was concerning my marital destiny and a change of story as the oldest sibling. On December 11th, 2022, Moses asked me to go on a date. He made his intentions known and was consistent in his pursuit for a future together but the fear of something unfamiliar gripped me and I did not give his pursuit much deep consideration and so we lost contact for some time…. “There is a right time for everything. Just because God answers your prayer doesn’t mean it’ll always feel good. 🙏🏽 Recently, God gave me something I’ve prayed for for years—and yet I found myself thinking, “I hate this.” The Holy Spirit immediately checked me: “Just because you’ve been called and ordained for this doesn’t mean it’ll be easy or fun. My will doesn’t always mean comfort.” I repented right away and thanked God for trusting me with something hard. Because sometimes, the hardest assignments are proof that He sees you as capable, ready, and chosen. Just like Moses, Jonah, and so many others, we might not love the process—but we’re still in the right place, doing the right thing. So be encouraged: God’s grace is enough. His will is worth it. As the Lord has faithfully ushered you into a new year, I pray that this season will be filled with unspeakable joy, overflowing peace, and abundant grace. I’m currently navigating a transformative season of faith, where God is refining my trust in Him. It’s a journey of surrender, where I’m learning to rely solely on God’s sovereignty, rather than my own plans or resources. We often mistake having multiple options for faith, don’t we? But true faith is revealed when we’ve exhausted all other avenues and are left with nothing but God. It’s in those moments of desperation and uncertainty that we discover the depths of God’s character and His unwavering presence. This month has been a testament to God’s faithfulness. Time and again, He’s shown up in miraculous ways, providing solutions where none seemed possible. Each day, I’m uncovering new facets of God’s nature, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to deepen my relationship with Him. While this journey is far from easy, I’m finding that the rewards far outweigh the challenges. As I press into God, I’m discovering my own resilience, strength, and capacity for faith. And I’m reminded that God is not just teaching me about Himself, but also about the transformative power of trust. Some scriptures that have truly been my anchor in this season… Romans 10:11 “The Scripture says, No man who believes in Him [who adheres to, relies on, and trusts in Him] will [ever] be put to shame or be disappointed.” Lamentations 3:37-40 (KJV) *(FAVORITE SCRIPTURE)* “Who is he that saith, and it cometh to pass, When the Lord commandeth it not? “ Exodus 14:14 “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” I love you all and Merry Christmas Christ is the only reason for this wonderful day! ✝️🎄🎊
