• BST • Our design for BST prioritises flexibility and openness through the use of soft boundaries. Curves delineate the separation between Entrance and Living, Kitchen and Dining. A quadrant carved out to form a dining room compliments the curved entryway set against floating cabinetry. Cherry-toned timbers, velvet curtains, blue pavers, and green terrazzo - the material and colour palette is an homage to nostalgia and Singapore’s housing aesthetic of the 70s and 80s. • KI IN MOTION • A wall that is also a door. A house envisioned in frames, as the wall turns new angles are revealed. Photos by @chan.psb . . . . . #architecture #interiordesign #sgrenovation #tinyhome #dezeen #architizer #designboom #vogueliving #homeanddecor #carlhansen

• KI IN MOTION • A wall that is also a door. A 360-degree turnstile is the heart of our design, transforming the home into a changing medley of spaces. When closed, the wall blends into a shade of pink. A slow dramatic turn reveals the spaces beyond. The wall stands ajar, the TV spins away, now a maroon shelf and its contents are in full display. A big thanks to our wonderful clients for trusting the vision, and @chan.psb for capturing our very intentions. • BLAUW BLUE • A clean cut. The kitchen is separated by a set of cold stainless sliding doors, cut with a geometric grid of crosses - an abstraction of the 13x13cm Delft Tile. . . . . . Photos by @chan.psb #interiordesign #architecture #sginterior #design

• BLOK I • The design at Blok I is a reinterpretation of the ubiquitous Ruko (Rumah Toko or Shophouse) typology in Indonesia and across the greater Southeast-Asia. The Ruko has a long and narrow layout, and was traditionally purpose-built for the dual function of commerce on the ground floor, and private living spaces on the second (and sometimes third) floor. In Batam, the top floors of a Ruko have largely become under-utilised and sometimes redundant, due to a change in living trends and the evolution of the Ruko design. Blok I is designed for the sole purpose of commerce, whilst still retaining the hierarchy of public and private spaces along a linear plan. On the exterior, the facade reinforces the traditional pitched roofs of a Ruko, playing with asymmetry to break up the long facade. . . . . . #architecture #architecturephotography #indonesianarchitecture #design

• BLAUW BLUE • A project that started with a 13x13cm cobalt blue Delft Tile began our exploration into a new monochromatic colour scheme. Set against a clean minimalistic backdrop, the hand-painted tiles and stainless steel are mirrored by a wall of dove blue birch ply. . . . . .
