Some panels leave you thinking. On Thursday I hosted a panel at @northerndesignfestival called 'Reclaiming Stories, Redefining Heritage' with @salt.sister.studio and @elizawilliams5477 (@creativereview )
We delved into the hard questions surrounding heritage. My key takeaways:
- Unearth ignored stories by going directly to the press, sometimes they don't know what they aren't seeing
- The industry should visualise the future we want to see, instead of following trends and politics
- Designers can respectfully tell the stories of other cultures if they involve the community, but still ask: should it really be me telling this story?
Greatful for the conversation and the panelists who pushed the conversation further. 🙏 Thank you to @niamhcartwrightdesign & @antoniaarbova for the invite and @bowyerjane you were missed 🙌

A new vision, a fresh sense of hope 🌱
We worked with Haringey Green Party of England and Wales to bring their manifesto to life, translating bold policies into a beautiful design celebrating local places. The soft visuals paired with the fun, bold typography reflects their values and energy.
It was refreshing to work with Comms Officer Ash Ahmed who understands the power of design in politics. Hope isn’t just a message, it’s their mission.

Endometriosis does not discriminate. It affects one in ten, regardless of their ethnic background.
We recently had the opportunity to design the parliamentary report for @cystersgroup and @endometriosis.uk created to inform MPs and policy-makers why urgent action is needed.
The challenge was to thoughtfully balance both brands whilst creating something impactful, engaging and impossible to ignore. A highlight was collaborating with Prajakta (GottaLoveEndo) whose illustrations amplified the brave stories shared through-out the report. The project is a powerful reminder of the importance of design in driving awareness, influencing policy and making complex information easy to understand.

How do you evolve brands to be a force for good? Why is storyelling essential to a successful campaign? What skills do I need to work in social justice? We'll be answering these questions at Chelsea College of Arts.
We're looking forward to sharing our practise with the next generation, and explain why it's vital to combine strategic-thinking and storytelling with design to create work which gets results.
Thank you Peter Chadwick for the gorgeous poster.

Yesterday we headed to the @vagina_museum to see the retrospective on Decolonising Contraception. It was inspiring to read how they began as a WhatsApp group and have grown to become a charity. It was humbling to see how we've played a small part in their journey, doing their recent rebrand to become Reproductive Justice Initiative. Congratulations to the @reprojusticeinitiative team, you should be so proud of your impact!
With a new leadership team and radical agenda, the Green Party of England and Wales is in a rare position: it has momentum. But to turn that into real influence, it needs more than policy.
I've written for Creative Review how the party can use storytelling and branding to rid its single-issue image and be an alternative force against the rise of Reform UK. To read the article visit the link in my bio.

📣 We’ve rebranded — and it’s about more than just a logo.
It’s about radical love, community, and culture.
Welcome to the new look of Cysters 🧡
We’ve always believed that reproductive and mental health can’t be separated from our lived experiences — from how we’re raised, what we eat, and what’s considered “taboo.”
So, our new brand identity brings those everyday cultural touchstones — like fruit, food, and family memories — into the conversation. 🍒🍈🥭🌰
Each fruit symbolises a core area of our work:
🍒 Menstrual Health – Cherries: often linked to shame, romance, or purity. We’re reclaiming that.
🥭 Mental Health – Mangoes: shared in joy, associated with mood and sweetness.
🍈 Maternal Health – Pomegranates: symbols of fertility and family across cultures.
🌰 Menopausal Health – Nuts: nourishing, grounding, and vital — just like our elders.
These are not just graphics. They’re our way of saying:
🧡 Health belongs to everyone.
🧡 Culture is a powerful tool for healing.
🧡 Advocacy can be joyful, fierce, and full of flavour.
We're still grassroots. Still led by lived experience. Still fighting for reproductive justice. But now we’re doing it in a way that’s unmistakably ours — and that opens the door to those who’ve always felt left out of health conversations.
Let’s make space for ALL bodies. For every conversation. For joy, struggle, and change.

It's a wrap 🎬 We had fun time filming with University of the Arts London for their online Masters course. We were interviewed by June Mineyama-Smithson on designing for social, racial and environmental justice.
We shared our methodology on how to create brands and campaigns to changes hearts and minds. Discussing how to use strategy and storytelling to inspire action. Our Founder, Sana Iqbal, discussed the importance of upholding values and balancing business with ethics.
We hope the tutorial provides the next generation of students with the tools to create progressive movements of change. Thank you to the film team for a fun experience.
