𝑰𝒇 𝑴𝒚 𝑳𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝒊𝒔 𝒂 𝑪𝒍𝒐𝒄𝒌 May 23rd - June 28, 2026 Opening Reception May 23rd 1-4pm Mary Helena Clark Bill Eppinger Sarah Pucci Dan Tran John Tursi 𝐁𝐫𝐮𝐧𝐨'𝐬 58-42A Catalpa Ave. Ridgewood, Queens, NY Abiding, here on earth, is to be held in what comes and comes back around: hours, revolutions, weeks, coffees, tides, seconds, springs, rooster, peeing, gas station, rent, full moon, arousal, fall, taxes, nail-cuttings, grass-trimmings, berry-pickings, vacuuming, cooking dinner. Our passage through time, or its passage through us is… all of it to the degree that it's also maybe nothing at all, which is why visualizations and manifestations of the experience of being in time captivate us. In this exhibition, we wander about a plane on which a few delineations are placed: Love, Time, Devotion, Repetition, Boredom, Erotics. We ruminate (like the cows and the deer) on the ways these are entwined. Does Love suffuse Time? The works in this exhibition perk our senses towards some ways that slippery Time and Love might be located and perused for a moment. As our breath passes and repasses our humming lips, we count tenderly on. One, two, buckle my shoe, three, four, shut the door, five, six… Image description: A promotional flyer for an upcoming group exhibition, "If My Love is a Clock," opening at Bruno's in Ridgewood, Queens, on May 23rd. The flyer features work from artist Dan Tran's calendar series, characterized by rounded, flared crosses in a black, white, and red color palette. The piece is titled, "April 22-March 25."

Opening April 11 from 1-3pm at Bruno’s! 📍58-42A Catalpa Ave, Ridgewood, NY 11385📍 ‘Tomorrow is not better on the other side of the grass’ is the first exhibition at Bruno’s, Studio Route 29’s Ridgewood gallery: a group show which brings together work from artists who do and don’t work in or at Progressive art studios. The show coalesces loosely (like weather or a time of day) around the strange, strained, and fruitful positions we may take while living in/with a construction that seeks to position “nature” as separate from… anything. How are we apart from and a part of our world?  As we think about this show and this work we are thinking about adaptation: the ways in which worlds are built within this one to open windows to other ways of being and dreaming; the ways in which we stretch like weeds towards the beautiful radiating sunlights we desire while our roots dig towards soils more nourishing; the ways we may adapt painting to conceal the idealism of abstraction inside the soft materialism of a dish rag; the ways we become other to become our slicked and multiple selves, attached like barnacles to the panes between realms, trash heap angels on high.   With: Angelificatum @n10chnl @theperfectnothingcatalog BJ Armour Michael Assiff @michael_as_if_ Michael Caudo @mcaudo Ficus Interfaith @ficusinterfaith Christian Turner Jennifer Chai Shear @jen_chai_shear Welcome to Bruno’s! At the Living Museum, we are not soloists — we are an orchestra. Collaboration, co-creation, and a strong culture of support are at the heart of everything we do. That is why we are especially excited to welcome an inspiring line-up of friends, progressive studios, and partner social arts nonprofit initiatives to LIVING MUSEUM X OPEN INVITATIONAL during Art Basel Week. These organizations are united by a shared commitment to artistic practice, inclusion, accessibility, and the transformative potential of art to strengthen communities. We are proud to celebrate their work, their artists, and the spirit of collaboration that brings this growing network together in Basel.
