Our resident artists receive 70% of the sale price of each piece sold. We keep the 30% to buy more art materials and pay for all the things that keep the lights on and the creativity flowing!

THIS SATURDAY, MAY 16: It's our birthday party and you're invited! 🥳 Help us celebrate 25 incredible years at the opening reception of "Art Enables at 25: Piece of Cake!" from 5 - 7pm. We promise there will be exciting art, cake (the edible kind and the sculptural kind), refreshments, and all the silver party sparkles your eyes can handle! Free, all ages, and open to the public. One Wicked Mime brings together recent work by Dennis Quillin and Christian Turner (of Art Enables DC, and Studio Route 29 NJ, respectively), whose work is connected in its formal presentation and playful sensibility.

Image descriptions:
1.) A dense, amorphous black form stretches across a vivid red background, its soft edges and smudged arrows suggesting motion or pressure within an abstract, organic mass.
2.) A totem-like shape rises vertically in dark brown against a warm orange field, resembling a column or pedestal with a rounded top and base.
3.) A bright yellow-green assemblage of found objects forms a tall, pump-like structure topped with a pale orb, blending industrial and playful elements through layered paint and materials.
4.) A white-walled gallery displaying framed colored pencil works on paper. It also shows three white pedestals supporting different sculptures, with a purple sculpture positioned on the floor in the entryway.

This exhibition is a celebration of where we are at a quarter-century, with works by all our currently active resident artists, and a (sculptural) cake for each meaningful year we’ve been dreaming and creating together. We'll have real, edible cake on offer for you, too, plus other snacks and refreshments. This event is free, all ages, and open to the public.
