This definitely ended up being one of my favourite rooms from our recent Notting Hill apartment project. There was a slightly awkward low door to outside in the room so we had an extra long curtain pole made to continue around really tall joinery acting as a hanging rail. 7 years in, and today we’re celebrating the 7 people who are Studio Peake. 🤍
Yes, my name’s on the door but without this brilliant, loyal, wildly talented team, there wouldn’t be a Studio Peake… just a Sarah Peake.
In an industry that often spotlights the individual, it’s easy to underplay the power of the team. When you start out, you chase the first client, the first project, the first magazine feature. Milestones matter, of course they do. But one day you look around and realise the real joy is the people beside you, and watching them grow.
I’m incredibly lucky to have had so many of the same faces with me for so long. Sophy Toller our Head of Design, joined just 18months in (and right as Covid hit 😅) and we’ve been through a lot together.
We really are a family. We share lunches around the studio table, open a bottle on Thursday afternoons, and have welcomed four Studio Peake babies in recent years.
This is the studio. This is the magic. 💫

Hard to believe we completed this project in 2019. Our first ever project is so close to our hearts and couldn’t be happier to be working with these clients again on their next home for their expanding family 👶🐶

A project we’ve loved working on for a good few years, full of colour, pattern, and now beautifully settled as a happy family home. It’s bittersweet to see it come to an end (I’ll miss it!), but what a journey it’s been. I’ve truly fallen for North Berwick along the way 🧡
