@bigmammagroup has brought Gloria Osteria’s signature personality to the Ritz-Carlton at DIFC. A feast of colour, pattern and nostalgic touches, the interior is designed to engage the senses and whisk diners off to a 1970s Milanese villa.
Our lighting scheme is in perfect dialogue with the maximalist aesthetic. We balanced the architectural and decorative lighting elements to add warmth and atmosphere, keeping the aesthetic soft and subtle to hero the sunset-hued Murano chandeliers and retro-style table lamps.

When an office stretches across two towers and multiple floors, light is a powerful tool – shaping the tone and rhythm of each space, and giving every single gathering point, intimate hub, and tucked-away nook its own sense of character.
At this global professional services firm’s regional HQ in the King Abdullah Financial District, our lighting scheme is constantly shifting the mood. Layers of illumination energise the communal areas, while soft, indirect lighting takes things down a notch in the quiet focus areas, creating a change of pace for those who need it.

Our MD, Lama, recently gave @arc_magazine an exclusive peek inside one of our latest workplace projects – One Offices at One Za’abeel.
Set within the iconic One Za’abeel development, this private office space features a hospitality-inspired design narrative – warm, soulful and full of touches of finesse.
‘It was our role to ensure the lighting lived up to that standard,’ shares Lama.
In the reception lobby, a bespoke lighting installation creates a moment of delicacy against the sculptured staircase. Layers of light elevate the piece, bouncing light onto the glass birds and creating a soft path of light along the marble stairs beneath.
‘Though carefully integrated lighting details, the staircase became a central feature, helping to improve circulation while enhancing the overall experience,’ Lama adds.

We're thrilled to share that Revolver won Project of the Year – MEA (Restaurant) at the 2026 Light Middle East Awards.
An unapologetically bold and original concept, @revolver_dubai from Michelin-starred @chefjitinjoshi and @ydesigninterior was one of those projects where every design detail adds to the spectacle. We relished the opportunity to stretch our creativity and use light (and dark) to enhance the experience.
This recognition is a proud moment for everyone at Studio N and reflects the passion, imagination and care that our team brings to every single project.

This restaurant unveils an immersive lighting design that elevates the richly layered, maximalist interiors carefully crafted by the phenomenal Yasmin Farahmandy of @ydesigninterior .
The lighting approach delivers drama while subtly guiding the narrative of the space, shaping atmosphere, rhythm, and focus throughout the dining journey.
A key feature within the main dining area is the striking bullet chandelier, running seamlessly across the ceiling to anchor the room and create a powerful visual cadence above the guests within.
