More highlights from our collaboration with @mrr.fusion A restaurant identity that offers a fresh take on old favorites. In 2023, the team behind Pasta Beach approached Newfound to brand their new fast-casual fusion concept, Mr. R. We developed an identity that balances playful experimentation with classic Italian design roots—fitting for a menu built on bold flavors and unexpected combinations. Drawing inspiration from Fortunato Depero and his iconic work for Campari, the brand leans into angular forms and expressive typography to capture the restaurant’s lively spirit. At the center is Mr. R himself—a character full of personality, paired with a compact wordmark that nods to Depero’s hand-drawn geometric lettering. Beyond the visuals, we collaborated on an interactive ordering experience that invites guests to quite literally stamp their mark on the menu—bringing a sense of play to every meal. A unified brand image reflecting over 50 years of giving back. For over half a century, West Elmwood Housing Development Corporation has worked to build healthy, sustainable communities in Providence’s West End. Newfound partnered with the organization to create a unified visual identity that connects its many programs under one cohesive voice. Rooted in the idea of bringing community resources together “under one roof,” the refreshed brand honors West Elmwood’s history while supporting its modern initiatives across housing, food, health, and education. A flexible design system, built around the roof chevron from their original logo, ties each program together through shared visual language, color, and structure, while still allowing space for individual expression. Creating a visual world for the work of an emerging artist. Spanish-American artist @dannyschilla partnered with Newfound to bring his ambitious four-part project, Observations, to life—a series of EPs exploring the dualities of the human experience. We worked closely with Schiller to craft a scalable creative direction, visual identity, and web experience that reflect his vision of building worlds through music. The visual system blends personal notes, analog textures, and symbolic iconography to mirror the conceptual depth behind his work. Branding and web for our good friends @itsmarcelinos @itsmarcelinosbos After earning a reputation as one of New England’s top cocktail bars, Marcelino’s expanded from their Providence speakeasy to a full restaurant in Boston’s Seaport district. Newfound refreshed their brand identity and built a new website that reflects the same care and sophistication found in their spaces. Drawing from the owners’ Lebanese heritage, the design captures the rich textures, warmth, and intimacy that define the Marcelino’s experience. To the legends themselves Marcelino & Pascal—it’s been an absolute pleasure to be a part of helping this grow into something amazing! As they expand into the Americas, AUX Air US worked with Newfound to lead a comprehensive redesign of their digital presence. By contrasting the industry’s typically cluttered web experiences, we delivered a streamlined, intuitive platform tailored to distributors, dealers, and homeowners.
