IN FOCUS: de Gournay × Studio Indigo × Mandarin Oriental Mayfair⁠⁠Our collaboration with @degournay became an integral part of the design story at the @mo_mayfair, woven throughout all 50 guestrooms and suites.⁠⁠Drawing inspiration from the traditional chinoiserie wallpapers found in English stately homes, we reinterpreted through a contemporary lens, balancing the heritage of de Gournay with the Eastern roots of the Mandarin Oriental brand.⁠⁠Together, we developed a bespoke colourway of de Gournay’s Magnolia design, carefully tailored for the hotel. Each composition was individually placed and scaled to suit the architecture of every room, ensuring every branch, bloom and moment felt intentional.⁠⁠The panels became a form of living artwork, bringing softness, movement and craftsmanship into the interiors in an unexpected and modern way, particularly within the entry-level suites.⁠⁠__ Photography @kensingtonleverne⁠⁠⁠#StudioIndigo #hoteldesign #luxuryinteriors
