In the contemporary era, AI has been marketed as a tool capable of wiping out humanity, sparking fears throughout society. While the intensity of these concerns varies from sector to sector, there is a pervasive foreboding that this technology will become the primary means of robotizing the vast majority of human activity.
This is a quintessential marketing-driven stance—one that seeks to leverage a sense of inadequacy, specifically regarding human productivity. In reality, both extreme positive and negative reactions should be taken with a grain of salt. Although AI will certainly streamline and accelerate a wide range of processes, it will eventually simply embed itself into civil society, much like the other technologies that have profoundly reshaped our world over the last forty years.
