'A More Or Less Correspondence' is a Mail-Art project where @celinemannens , @carlosclementee , @claudiaclaremi , and I shared ourselves with each other between 2022 and 2023. One of the letters that resonated with me the most was one from Céline, which was different from all the others. I was gracefully shocked by its simplicity: a white envelope, its contents a few plain cardboards bound by a cream elastic band, with a short sequence of texts and subtle arrows in the corners. Its unadorned beauty and directness made me want to reprint this handwritten, transparent, and elegant narrative about her encounters at the stairway of her building.
'14 pisos, 7 plantas' by Céline Mannens is a delightful glimpse about everyday encounters at her building's stairway, told with genuine simplicity.
