This video is my graduation project for @maastrichtinstituteofarts
A lot of the previous print and scan videos are a part of it and now they are bundled in one long ass video loop.
The process was a bumpy ride consisting of existential crisisces and self criticism, but I graduated and that’s the most important part.
This won’t be the last project in this specific style, so definitely stay tuned for more!

VOLKSLEED - 10 SEPTEMBER 2026
Gebroeders Pablo & Vince van de Poel zijn samen met hun bokkige vriend Jordan Faber een nieuwe metalband begonnen: DE BOKKERŸERS. Want wat is er nou méér metal dan een stel bandieten dat zich vliegend op bokken door de 18e eeuwse Zuid-Limburgse nacht voortbeweegt? Geradbraakt, slingerend aan de galg of gevierendeeld… Allemaal kwamen ze aan een bloederig einde. Zó metal.
DE BOKKERŸERS zagen het als hun Limburgse ereplicht om deze 18e eeuwse verhalen vol duisternis en meedogenloosheid te voorzien van de verschroeiende riffs, de donderende ritmes en de tekstuele extravagantie die ze verdienen. Het resultaat is een album dat klinkt als een nachtmerrie waarin het misvormde duivelskind van Ozzy Osbourne en André Rieu in een kolkende beerput verdronken wordt door de zanger van Carnaval Corpse: dit is een combinatie van keiharde doom-, sludge- en thrashmetal, voorzien van Limburgstalige teksten met een punk-attitude, een flinke dosis humor en nepbloed. En een collab met Limburgse carnavalskoningin Beppie Kraft. Geen grap.
VOLKSLEED komt uit op 10 september op Electrosaurus Records (PREORDER NOW) en ter ere hiervan zullen de Bokkeryers een paar live shows spelen, versterkt door Gerben Bielderman (Iron Jinn) op bas en Daniël Michels (Seeds of Despair) op 2e gitaar 🔥
