This French-inspired elevated garden-party wedding was designed to evoke the charm of a Parisian bistro meets romantic elegance. The reception featured classic stripe tablecloths, bistro-style table lamps, and sculptural topiary throughout the space, creating a sense of structured beauty softened by wild, buttery-toned florals and cascading foliage—particularly at the bridal table, which became a lush, textural focal point. For cocktail hour, the mood shifted playfully with floral-patterned linens, scalloped umbrellas, and stripe signage, tying back to the theme while introducing layered patterns and whimsy. The overall aesthetic was refined yet relaxed—effortlessly curated with a mix of structured greenery, romantic florals, and French design cues that blended timeless style with a fresh, editorial edge. Whites Valley Estate made for a very special venue to host Mia and George’s wedding as it is a family property. Mia’s brother married there several years ago, and in March this year, it was her turn. There’s something grounding about marrying on land that already belongs to your family. Nothing needs to be explained or dressed up. You already belong to the place. As an Adelaide wedding photographer, these are the days that stay with me. The wedding day was captured on a mix of digital and 35mm film and featured 250 guests, a Stefana crowning ceremony using the parents’ very own crowns, and a dancefloor that did not quit. Mia wore Mariana Hardwick. George, Oscar Hunt. She changed into burgundy Versace platforms for the reception and carried a mini Jacquemus. Every choice considered, yet nothing overdone. You’ll never have all the people you love in the same room again. They knew that. You could feel it all night.
