Entre Chien et Loup by @erwinjonkerfoto is a photobook that, in many ways, feels like a short film. Named after the French expression meaning “between dog and wolf,” it explores a suspended space where the familiar begins to shift into the unknown. Through cinematic sequencing, atmosphere, and material presence, the book invites a slow and contemplative encounter with images that resist fixed meaning.
Printing by @npnprinting we printed it with an additional black on an LED-UV press.
The first and last signature is printed digitally with two times white ink and black ink on Sirio Royal Green by @fedrigoni.paper , the rest of the interior is printed on Lessebo Design by @igepa_nl and bound with orange yarn matching the orange PMS of the cover.

Wooden cassette for the special edition of the wonderful photo book ‘Entre Chien et Loup’ by @erwinjonkerfoto
Laser-cut from Lindehout multiplex by @snijlab , the cassette was screen-printed (@kurtfacenijmegen )in two layers: first in white, then with a green overprint layer that matched with the @fedrigoni.paper Royal Green paper used for the first and last signature of the book’s interior.
I’m happy with how this project turned out. And this is the second book I published with @booksbykoos . The special edition is sold out, but we still have a few copies of the regular edition available. If you’d like to buy a copy, send me a DM for more details.

Designing the catalogue for @the.best.dutch.book.designs was an honor. Our goal was to create a functional yet inspiring catalogue that celebrated the 33 selected books and offered a fresh perspective on Dutch book design.
We treated the catalogue as a curated exhibition, giving each book its own “mini-book” format through a unique folding system. Dutch and English texts were placed on opposite sides of each foldout page, aligning jury reports and technical details with the corresponding book images for clarity.
To foster a personal connection, we emphasized tactile interaction, reflecting the intimate nature of books. Printed by six Dutch printers using six paper types from @igepa_nl Nederland, the catalogue became a showcase of Dutch craftsmanship, with its hardcover in vibrant red and purple Wibalin, complemented by delicate embossing.
Photographed by Studio Another Day, the winning books were presented with hands holding them to convey scale and their human connection. The result is a catalogue that celebrates the artistry, tactility, and exceptional production quality of Dutch book design.
A big thanks to:

Another day working on my first book.
Today we started building one of the central storylines — connecting the worlds of the North and the South. From the Arctic to Antarctica and South Georgia.
Different places, different light, different wildlife.Yet somehow deeply connected.
It’s exciting to slowly see the story come together, piece by piece #photobook #artbook #bookmaking #visualstorytelling #fineartphotography

Anapnéo by Simon Duijs went on press today.
We had a wonderful time at @pantheondrukkers — great people, and what a machine! The book was printed on an LED UV inkjet press, with an amazing color range and deep blacks on uncoated paper.
Looking forward to seeing the finished book. Next step: binding.

As part of the visual identity for @stasjmusic album Building a Cathedral, I designed the posters for the upcoming tour. We took Stefanie from the album shoot and placed her within a typographic architectural setting. The posters were printed in two spot colours, matching the palette we used for the album artwork.
Different poses were used for different shows.
This was one of my favourite projects of 2023.

For @stasjmusic - Building A Cathedral, we shaped the record sleeve, photography, and art direction into one cohesive visual identity.
Built around two dots, a bold two-tone palette, expressive typography, and staged imagery with Stefanie Janssen at the center, the project transforms the album’s ceremonial rock-opera spirit into a striking graphic language.
From cover to inner sleeve to vinyl, image and design come together as a contemporary cathedral — ritualistic, theatrical, tactile, and future-facing.
Printed in CMYK + pms bright red U + pms violet U.

Nomination European Design Awards 2026
We are absolutely delighted with the news we received recently: after securing a place in the finals of the ADCN (Dutch Creativity) Awards 2026 in Amsterdam, our double EP with an accompanying book about the remarkable life of Nicolas Reubsaet (1843–1887) is now also competing for a European prize in Sofia: the European Design Awards 2026.
The manual creation of the ‘memory palace’ installation for the album cover alone took no less than 21 days—three full weeks. Boundaries were pushed in many other ways as well. The raw, truly pitch-black Genesis paper used for the book was sourced from Italy; printing was done in shades of grey and silver; the book was sewn with silver-colored thread using a so-called Singer stitch (a meaningful choice, as Isabella Singer was Reubsaet’s second wife) and attached to a custom-made record sleeve designed specifically for this project. The record itself was pressed on 180-gram vinyl in Ultra Clear, and each inner sleeve was individually screen-printed by hand.
There are still copies of this special edition available. Interested? Feel free to send me a message!

Financial support was gratefully received from, among others, the Jan Smeets Fund of Pop in Limburg.

Memory Palace / Geheugenpaleis, a popnoir album and research project by @christopherdols is a cross-media graphic design project that transforms historical research into a tactile music artefact. Based on the life of 19th-century outsider Nicolas Reubsaet, it brings research, music, photography and design together in one vinyl LP. The sleeve contains a bound research book, making listening and reading part of the same experience.
@niek_does and I built a memory palace out of greyboard and treated it with a thin layer of cement.
The sleeve is printed in two blacks, a PMS grey, and a custom silver ink.
The booklet is printed in silver on black Genesis paper supplied by @igepa_nl , and bound by Voetelink with silver yarn.
The inner sleeve is screen-printed by @kurtfacenijmegen .
