We had the pleasure to add some wholesome animation for @jason.kelce and @aphillyspecialchristmas Christmas song Loud Little Town! Part of their third and final holiday album; "A Philly Special Christmas" which doubles as a charity album, raising and donating over 4 million dollars to local Philadelphia charities. 🥔 We composed some 90s Saturday morning action cartoon inspired lo-fi synth rock 'n' funk for a brand new animation studio from @darcy__doodbridge called @studio_spud .
Darcy suggested “a daggy 90s TV soundtrack kind of vibe” which, after consulting a dictionary of Australian slang, seemed to align perfectly with what we had in mind.
So we took a trip down memory lane and watched episodes of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Transformers, and Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors, listening carefully.
