We cannot wait for @evan_ife show opening tonight @gasworkslondon ///Evan have had the first project programmed by @a___________________________z taking place at @studio_rca back in 2016 /// WE LOVE THEIR WORK 💙 #Repost @gasworkslondon ・・・ Ritual Without Belief, a solo exhibition and major new commission by London-based artist Evan Ifekoya will open to the public here at Gasworks from July 5th and run until September 2nd 2018. -- Envisaged as a site of abundance in which various positions and propositions accumulate and intersect, the exhibition comprises an extended sound work and installation that explore how to create the conditions for polyvocality. Lasting six hours – the length of Gasworks’ opening hours – Ifekoya describes their sound work as ‘a black queer algorithm across generations, locations and political affiliations’. -- Evan Ifekoya’s exhibition is commissioned and produced by Gasworks, where Ifekoya has been a studio holder since June 2017, with major support from @aceagrams , Catherine Petitgas and Gasworks’ Exhibitions Programme Supporters 2018-19. -- No.1: Start from a place of Abundance, 2018.
