Thank you to everyone who came through, showed love, listened, looked, and shared space with us.
This first edition of True To Country existed because of the people who contributed their time, work, energy, and belief in the idea. What started as a simple intention—to reflect Ghana through image and sound—became a collective moment.
Thank you to the sound orchestrators who carried the experience beyond the walls:
@nyamecmplx • @afiafriday__ • @dede.__ • @annaaleoniee_
Special thanks to our curator @afiafriday__ for her immense contribution to make this project come to life, also thank you to @vlkdjokoto and @kaxoxowo Gallery
This was the first chapter.
More stories, more voices, more moments to come.

True To Country is a living archive of who we are. It stems from our pride, our stories and love for where we come from.
A living record of our people, our pulse and the everyday moments that shape us.
From the streets that raised us to the memories that guide us.
This is Ghana through film, photography and sound.
A journey shaped by how we see and feel it.
There’s more to unfold. Follow along and share what being True To Country means to you in the comments.

Studio 26 × @complexdepartment
Studio 26 collaborates with Complex Department to celebrate African tailoring heritage. Inspired by their latest release, we’re bringing themed photo sessions to life on site.
Come vibe with us in a 90s Ghana-style photo corner — the kind of throwback poses and feel we all grew up seeing, but with a fresh twist. Select pieces from the new collection will also be there for you to try on for your shots.
We’re calling on photographers, models, and fashion lovers — let’s create, connect, and build the community together.
