There’s a specific brand of audacity required to build a creative sanctuary from the ground up in a landscape that’s still catching up to the value of its own visionaries. Atanko Davidson, the architect behind Complex Department, has been moving in silence, but the impact of Complex Academy is now officially too loud to ignore. The academy is pulling back the curtain on Cohort 3 of its Creators Network. If the momentum from the first two cycles is any barometer, we’re about to witness one of the most vital creative explosions Ghana has seen from an independent, fashion-forward institution.
