Its been about 10 months since we presented our debut exhibition „The Sacred Space In Between“ at Reich für die Insel (@rfdinsel ). During this time we had the pleasure to welcome our friend fashion photographer and stylist Yvonne Wigger (@yvi_lynn ) at the exhibition.
Today we will a look back at the exhibition through her lens with a few carefully selected photographs.
Yvonne typically likes to take an almost sculptural approach to fashion, allowing matter and form to speak and exploring the relationship of seemingly contradictory objects to one another, especially in still life editorials.
Today, she advises both traditional fashion houses and emerging brands on their creative direction, visual language and styling department.
Here a few words by Yvonne about her visit at our exhibition:
-Experiencing „The Sacred Space In Between“ in Innsbruck through the lens of my analog camera felt like entering a calm, meditative state. With each shot, I tried to capture the gentle dance of light and sound. The added audio made the experience even richer, surrounding me in a beautiful harmonic symphony. Watching the frequencies change the water was amazing, showing delicate, almost magical patterns. It reminded me of how, with humans being made of 60% water, these frequencies can affect our own bodies, showing a deep connection between us and the vibrations around us.-
Veer, 2023
———
Veer is an audiovisual installation with a 6-point audio system and two differently orientated projection surfaces. The six loudspeakers are arranged in a circle in the room and can be controlled both together and individually. The acoustic elements are connected to two projection surfaces. The first projection surface is located on the floor, spatially limited by the arrangement of the loudspeakers. The second projection surface is a rear projection screen that faces the loudspeaker circuit from the front. The visual and acoustic components are in continuous interaction with each other. The result is a 6-dimensional spatial experience that leads to different audiovisual experiences as visitors change position. For the first iteration, the musical programme was produced by Oliver Albach (@oliveralbach ) and the visual programme was designed by Luis Meyer (@lu.me____ )
Veer was displayed in our „The Sacred Space In Between“ Exhibition in September 2023 at the Offspace Reich für die Insel in Innsbruck. @rfdinsel

Gleam, 2023
———
Gleam is an audiovisual installation consisting of three hemispherical sculptures with individual light sources and a cymatic light altar. The light altar consists of a metal plate covered with water that is set in vibration with the help of a transducer. The altar surface is determined by the visualisation of the sound material in the water waves. The light altar is illuminated both in the centre from above and at an angle from the side to show the refractions and reflections of the light in different compositions.
For the first version of Gleam, the principle of the musical pattern "call and response" was used. The three light sculptures thus reacted continuously with the light altar. The installation's musical programme was written by Tino Heubach (@t_in_o ) and consisted almost exclusively of tonal elements, in keeping with the circular formal language of the installation.
Gleam was displayed in our „The Sacred Space In Between“ Exhibition in September 2023 at the Offspace Reich für die Insel in Innsbruck. @rfdinsel
All photos were either captured by @valerie_voithofer or us.
Refraction, 2023
———
Refraction is an audiovisual installation consisting of a three-meter-long cymatic table and a light source suspended above it. The stainless steel tub, which is embedded in a wooden structure, is equipped with four transducers that cause the water on the surface of the tub to vibrate. The type and intensity of the water vibrations are determined by the frequencies and bass pulses of the music program.
For the first iteration of Refraction, a suspended construction with LED strips was mounted above the cymatic table, which also reacted to the audio material used. The reflection and refraction of the light in the water creates a surface between chaos and order. The music program for the first iteration of Refraction was produced by @oliveralbach . The percussive, almost atonal orientation of the music was chosen with reference to the angular formal language of the installation.
Refraction was displayed in our „The Sacred Space In Between“ Exhibition in September 2023 at the Offspace Reich für die Insel in Innsbruck. @rfdinsel

We are delighted to announce the exhibition program for “The Sacred Space In Between” at @rfdinsel .
