Our new project ‘Dalsoon’ is a light installation by Studio Noké @studio.noke -Moon Seop Seo & Katharina Sook Wilting- Inspired by the korean tale of the origins of the Moon, the sculpture acts as a bridge, the rope between earth and heaven. It invites visitors into a meditative experience, a pause from the pace of daytime that opens space for stillness. Like moths drawn to a flame, humans are instinctively captivated by its presence, compelled to move towards it. What is the mysterious power the Moon holds over us? ⏳️SNEAK PEEK | Studio Noké - Dalsoon 🇳🇱Katharina Sook Wilting en Moon Sep Seo vormen samen kunstenaarsdio Studio Noké. Voor ons Talent Programme ontwikkelden ze Dalsoon, een grote lichtinstallatie geïnspireerd op de Koreaanse mythe over waar de maan vandaan komt. Het werk is gemaakt van verschillende metalen cilinders die een traag bewegend touw vormen. De lichtstralen die er tussendoor schijnen, lijken net banen maanlicht. Laat je tijdens het Schemerlicht Festival betoveren door de trage, meditatieve lichtdans! Katharina Sook Wilting and Moon Sep Seo form artist duo Studio Noké. As a part of our Talent Programme, they developed Dalsoon, a large light installation inspired by the Korean myth of the origins of the moon. The work is made up of different metal cylinders which form a slow-moving rope. The light shining through them resembles moonbeams. Talent Programm 2025 💫 🇳🇱 Het doel van het Talent Programme is simpel maar krachtig: getalenteerde afgestudeerden begeleiden bij het ontwikkelen van een installatie die tijdens het festival in première gaat. Het programma biedt niet alleen zichtbaarheid voor deze jonge kunstenaars, maar ze ontvangen ook intensieve begeleiding van curator Zalán Szakács bij iedere stap van het creatieve proces. Voor deze editie van het Talent Programme zijn Studio Noké en Studio Onderstroom gekozen! Studio Noké (bestaande uit Katharina Sook Wilting en Moon Seop Seo) brengt met hun lichtsculptuur de invloed van de maancyclus aan het licht, en Studio Onderstroom (bestaande uit Annabel Schouten, Jurriaan de Vos en Gemma Luz Bosch) vangt vijf verschillende tijdzones in één interactieve instrumentinstallatie. --- 🇬🇧 The goal of the Talent Programme is simple yet powerful: to guide talented graduates in developing an installation that premieres at the festival. The programme not only offers visibility to these young artists, but they also receive extensive guidance from curator Zalán Szakács throughout every step of their creative process. For this year's edition of the Talent Programme, Studio Noké and Studio Onderstroom were chosen!
