Part 1 from a brand shoot with @dinasilbermann Dina is an incredibly talented personal development coach for professionals. We split the shoot into two parts ready for her new website launch. On the first shoot, we focused more on her 1-to-1 work, showing her warm & friendly nature, balanced with her professionalism. We used shoot two to show the other half of Dina’s work during a large event for one of her regular clients, leading a large group of professionals during a dynamic seminar. Sam and I met 5 years ago and weren’t allowed to say a single word to each other. It was our first Vipassana meditation course in Gloucestershire. It was around the pandemic time and we were assigned fixed seats for meals. We were on the same table of 4. We’d kept in touch on and off and followed each other’s journeys but never met in person till the day of the shoot, at a house I co-built. Sam lived in Bristol, a city very close to my heart. I studied economics there and had my first taste of independence before moving to London for my first grownup job. Last year, I went back for another Vipassana course with Ina. What a special experience it was to go with her. We grew stronger and closer through the beauty of silence and separation not to mention the embrace on day 10. To then bring all of this together and do a shoot with Ina and Sam was quite something. We shared a lot of laughs (as you can see). DIY Make your own Star Seed Botanical Mask Workshop @bemorebeam last night was a huge success. I’m so happy this landed well, and it felt like such a beautiful way to celebrate the welcome of spring and Earth Month. People interacted with the botanical edible ingredients, smelling, even tasting, touching textures and distinguishing the plants in the radiant colour palette of leaf extracts, berry skins, seeds, enzymes and much more. It was a proud moment for Ed and I and we felt so lucky to be hosted by Ana and her team in such a beautiful and fun venue at the heart of Belgravia.
