The Talks Tent at WOH’26 💙
Lemara, our Talks Tent Programmer, introduces their vision for this year’s area:
💬 “This year, togetherness is not just a theme for the Talks Tent - it’s a tenet to be acted on, returned to, and carried with you wherever you go.”

The Talks Tent programme is now here! 💖
Rooted in connection, vulnerability and growth, our Talks Tent is a space where everyone’s invited – not just to listen, but to speak, question, and take part.
This year we’ll be talking about a huge range of topics. From food sovereignty, to climate justice, the line-up weaves together stories of care, community and creativity. We’ll also hear from artists making music through the lens of motherhood, and explore the mystical landscape of Ethiopia through sound and ceremony. We’ll deep dive into a memoir about deafness, language and identity and what it means to listen and be heard. As well as electric poetry performances from amazing collectives around Britain.
A huge thank you to our wonderful Talks Tent Programmer Lemara for making this year’s Talks Tent a hub for meaningful conversations and moments of real joy. She tells us, “Music often reflects an artist’s world, and the Talks Tent carries that same spirit – without basslines, but with just as much depth”.
Come down and get involved, we can’t wait to welcome you ⭐
