stop motion film I made for my final 5 week project in college definitely not enough time for this but i pulled through haha
I had been making a lot of work about connection, esp with gender and hardcore so i thought i'd combine the two and make a film about the energy/community at gigs with music from my new sass band!!
additionally to the stop motion i recorded it on a CRT TV, screenprinted shirts and made a few new zines since scene community isnt JUST about music - art, distro, archival/documentation etc..

also the stop motion set features a TON of tiny gig posters from a range of UK promoters, not entirely visible in the CRT recording but the 'gig photos' I will be posting they are more clear in :)

was such a super busy fun night thank you all for coming and having a dance and for the bands for playing!!!! its really cool and flattering to see so many people support a project i started as a wee thing in highschool and the energy it brought in person
very honoured to bring more zine culture into shows and i hope its inspired some people to go make their own - even if you dont do anything with it!
hope more comes for studded turtle this year - and that ill post my huge backlog of sets..
