Dear Dan, I hope you’re looking down on this outpouring of love, respect and recognition for you. Few deserve it more. In fact right now I can’t think of anyone. Love, Stuart

On this day in 1859 Tisbury railway station was opened. It’s been little ole Tiz’s lifeline to the outside world ever since. Our brilliant Station Master Sarah made sure the occasion did not go unnoticed.

R.I.P. to a real gent and a legend, Duane Eddy. Met him and watched him do his thing in Nashville a few years back. Special.

Sometimes this music thing is just too overwhelmingly beautiful. Last night at TradFest in Dublin was one of those times. Two old stagers like a pair kids. Singing like birds. Tom Paxton (86) and Ralph McTell (79) duetting on Tom’s ‘The Last Thing On My Mind’, accompanied by a 2,000 piece choir.

In two minds whether admit to attending Roger Waters political rally at the O2 last night. Giles Stanley made me do it 😁. But what music and what a spectacle. Truly, genius at work. Cheers Giles 👍
