Mr. Murray is a Brooklyn-based DJ and event organizer rooted in the underground scenes of New York and Berlin. Her sets fuse techno, EBM, electro, trance, and progressive—pushing classic sounds into raw, psychedelic, and often unpredictable territory. Focused on texture and tension, her style is unapologetically bold, with a deep commitment to spinning records and pushing boundaries.
She began collecting in 2013 after attending Dubspot, and quickly committed to vinyl as her format of choice. Soon after, she launched Outwatch, a Brooklyn DIY party series known for hosting countless U.S. debuts of international artists with a similarly off-center vision.
From 2017 to 2022, she lived in Berlin, where she honed her sound playing at venues like Hoppetosse, ://About Blank, Libertine, and Anomalie. During that time, she launched Bimittwoch, a series spotlighting non-dancefloor-focused sets, and joined the Sobremesa collective. She also founded FTF Records to support artists she believes in. Her performances have reached Kyiv, Brazil, Ecuador, France, Montreal, and cities across the U.S.
Now back in Brooklyn, she continues carving out space for vinyl culture. In 2023, she launched
@ladiesonwax , a collective devoted to uplifting women and gender expansive artists who DJ records, preserving the spirit of analog music and inspiring a new generation of collectors.
