Recorded with @ethanjohnsmusic on drums and producing, whose incredible guidance and musicality helped shape this record into something really special. Freezing Winds Of Change: Growing up and moving on can be really painful. Leaving people & places behind is something we all must do at some point, no matter what it costs. This song is about the pain of looking back, but also the unexpected joy of allowing yourself to be carried forward.
The melody shows my Celtic influences. I couldn’t think of anyone better to sing this with me than the great Siobhan Miller. John McCusker and Mike McGoldrick are a two-man orchestra, grounded by the mighty oak Nick Pini on bass.
