Camping, Riding, Quaffing, pinching and just all around having a great time at the @blackrocks_racing team weekend in Brown County Indiana! Thanks to all the buds I got to ride, eat, camp and hang out in front of stinky outhouses with, and thanks to the sponsors that help make it happen especially @blackrocksbrewery for the tasty beverages that kept us hydrated, let’s do it again soon! #justpinchit #quaffon #blackrocksracing

@blackrocks_racing spring team weekend at Brown County State Park was an absolute rip. Nights were chilly but the hearty Michiganders were unfazed. Forest was poppin’ with lil orange Blackrocks flowers and the trails were dialed. Vibes were even better with an all time crew of awesome humans. Too many inside jokes to count. We renamed trails, made album covers, and Jenny kept the fire stoked. Wade and Mariah nerded out on rocks, we cracked up at campfire stories, Megan held it down on snake patrol, and Farrugia even fixed a bent chainring with a stick. 😂 Heart full. Love this team. What a weekend. Huge thanks to our sponsors making this possible!!

Say hello to Dustin Meyer, better known as Jetski! 🔥 Grand Rapids based and, by his own definition, 30 years bike obsessed — not just riding, but fully in it. The kind of rider where bikes have always been part of the story, not something he found later. He’s been racing for 12 years now, with a clear home in MTB... and let me tell you, this dude is FAST!! Favorite race? @marjigesick . Sun up to sun down on RAMBA trails — long, gritty, and a little unforgiving. Exactly the kind of day he’s after. Post-race? @blackrocksbrewery Float Copper Lager. For 2026, the goal is dialed: earn the Marji Gesick 100 mile buckle. A race that demands patience, toughness, and a willingness to stay in it when things get hard. And if you’re wondering how deep the bike roots go — Dustin had a Rivendell Reader subscription at 14... not many people can say that. He brings that lifelong connection to the team — thoughtful, steady, and all about the ride itself. Built for the long days. Right where he belongs. The team wouldn't be the same without him! 🤠👏🏻

Who’s going after a sub 6.5 hour mug this year for the Barry-Roubaix @panaracer_world 100 mile psycho killer? What face are you gonna make after you earn it? Most importantly what @blackrocksbrewery beer are you filling it up with first? Any guesses on what color it’ll be this year? Alright alright, we’ll stop with the questions… guess you’ll just have to ride 100 miles to find out. 😏 #barryroubaix #blackrocksbarryroubaix #gravelforall #barryroubaix100 📸: @robmphoto @haryldutson

oh 2025. what a hoot and a half. a year of a lot of firsts, a decent amount of change, another college degree, lots of miles, and not enough cats. A couple of takeaway I’m wildly proud of: Three overall 1st place finishes (Saulty Marie Trails Fest, RAMBA 24, and our fall series of UPCROSS) Graduated with my masters in education! and published my thesis! Spent more time on the bike! New friends! New pals! Seeing old ones too! And so much more. Here’s to another year of floating around the sun on this big rock in the sky. Cheers, eh! - pc: @robmphoto & @edward.l.rogers where applicable

A little bit of a latergram, but, I’m super stoked to have taken 1st Place Solo Men’s at this years @ride.ramba 24 (25) hour race! I didn’t really have any expectations coming into this years race, regardless of having taken 2nd last year. I tried this year to have quick transitions between laps, and to ride as smooth as I could. To my surprise, all of that ended up working out in my favor! I rode for quite a while with @giroux9141 which was nice, we had quite a few conversations about everything under the sun, which made the laps go by faster. On top of that, I got to see a lot of friends from all around (quite a few from GR!) which was super cool! I ended up with 11 laps, or 143 ish miles of riding in a little over 14 hours of moving time. From around 2:00am till the finish I got a chance to enjoy the atmosphere, which is a super unique aspect of a 24 hour race. My stomach had kinda folded from all of the race nutrition then so it was a shoulder shrug from there to the end. Anyways! If you don’t already have this race on your calendar for next year, you should! It’s the best $25 you’ll spend on a race! - #mtb #racing #blackrocks #marquette #ishpeming #ibis #mtbracing

Next up for introductions: Dustin Meyer! 👏🏻 Originally from Sault Ste. Marie, Dustin now calls Grand Rapids, MI home. With 11 years of racing experience, his passion for MTB runs deep—so deep that he can’t pick just one favorite trail. When it comes to racing, he takes on the toughest challenges, with the @marjigesick 100 holding the top spot on his list. And after pushing through one of the hardest races out there, nothing hits better than a @blackrocksbrewery Float Copper. Fun fact: Not only does Dustin play the violin, but he plays one he made himself. Talk about precision and craftsmanship on and off the bike! 🤯 What does being part of Blackrocks Racing mean to him? "Keeping the friendly in competition and spreading the Blackrocks stoke!" Here’s to good vibes, tough races, and keeping the stoke alive! 📸: @robmphoto
