Our celebrant, Raquel, crafted a unique ceremony to honor their beautiful love, inspired by their amazing love story, and rituals filled with meaning. To honor Pooja’s roots, the couple had the beautiful Varmala ritual, where the couple offers each other garlands made of flowers, a symbol of beauty, peace, and birth; and the Saat phera ritual, where the couple completes 7 circles walking around fire, representing the Sun, Earth, Moon and four planets that are visible to the naked eye, while manifesting their intentions for a happy, long-lasting marriage.
‘The great Mexican painter Frida Kahlo once wrote “donde no puedas amar, no te demores”. Where you can’t love, don’t delay. You, Pooja and Chris, recognised love in each other from that beautiful candid friendship you started so many years ago, so you wisely stayed in each other’s lives.’

A nossa celebrante, Raquel, criou uma cerimónia única para celebrar o seu lindo amor, inspirada pela sua história de amor incrível, e rituais cheios de significado. Para honrar as raízes da Pooja, o casal realizou o ritual Varmala, em que oferecem um ao outro colares feitos de flores, símbolos de beleza, paz, e nascimento; e o ritual Saat phera, onde o casal completa 7 círculos ao redor do fogo, em representação do Sol, Terra, Lua, e dos quatro planetas visíveis a olho nu, enquanto manifestam as suas intenções para um casamento feliz e duradouro.
