Every bite will keep supporting our mission — all proceeds go toward continuing our work to improve the quality of life of our street vendors and their families. This past Saturday, we were able to distribute 85 food pantry packages to families impacted by the reduction of SNAP benefits. This wouldn’t have been possible without the generous support we received from the @fooddepository along with the dedication of our incredible team and volunteers. Your hard work and commitment continue to make a real impact. We are truly grateful for everyone who helps us show up for our community time and time again 🤝

Today Street Vendors Association of Chicago are giving away food to those who have been affected with decreased SNAP benefits. They’re here till 2pm 25/Drake must bring ID and SNAP benefits card.

We’re getting the band back together and going back on tour for the Street Vendor Bike Tour Series!! Join us with our friends @streetvendorsofchicago as we ride all over the city to support local street vendors, the last Saturday of the month from May-Oct. #BikeChi RSVP via Eventbrite link in bio.

We are incredibly grateful to have received a micro-grant thanks to The City of Chicago and The Greater Chicago Food Depository, which will allow us to distribute pantry items to families impacted by recent SNAP reductions. At a time when many are facing uncertainty, access to food is more important than ever. We also had the honor of meeting the Mayor, Brandon Johnson, and sharing the work our association is doing to support street vendors and their families. This support is a reminder that our efforts are being seen and that our community matters.

Full house 🎊 Yesterday, our team distributed another 90 relief checks to our street vendors 🙌🏽 We continue working hard to make sure every donation we receive goes directly back into supporting our community. None of this would be possible without the constant love and support we receive — we are truly grateful. A special thank you to CCTC for generously donating 100 tamales and 100 fruit cups, making sure our vendors were taken care of while they patiently waited for their checks ❤️ Our office is always filled with so much warmth — from paletas and pan dulce to arepas, chocolate bars, and so many other treats.
