The backyard centers around a long pool surrounded by native plantings and boulders, with a stone water channel running through the landscape and a brass outdoor shower tucked against a hand-laid stone wall. The home itself sits low and quiet against the desert defined by clean lines, warm plaster, and just enough structure to stand out against the landscape without competing with it.

At the Avenida Project, natural light drives every design decision.
The living room is oriented so the sun moves across the plaster walls throughout the day, with floor-to-ceiling glass connecting directly to the desert landscape beyond. That same openness carries into the kitchen, where warm oak cabinetry and a marble backsplash sit inside a room that never feels closed off from the outside. In the primary bedroom, the desert is the first thing you see from the bed each morning.

The water channel is a defining moment at Project Avenida. It begins at the front, set into a hand-laid stone wall with dark bronze spouts feeding it from above. It pauses at the glass entry, where the transparency of the walls picks up the visual line and carries it straight through the home. From the front, you can see all the way to the desert garden on the other side.
On the back end, the channel continues into the landscape, surrounded by native plantings, boulders, and mature trees. The sound of moving water follows you from the moment you arrive.
