Happy New Year!
Shortly before the holidays, we returned to Los Angeles driving down the coast - we performed as part of a glorious concert at Town Hall Seattle in late November and had a wonderful time making music in the gorgeous Pacific Northwest.
During our drive back to Los Angeles, we took a slightly longer route down the southern Oregon coastline and through Humboldt Redwoods State Park. As part of our journey we found ourselves capturing some video of this intense and beautiful nature and began considering the idea of pairing this video with one of the pieces on our upcoming Los Angeles library concert programs (John Cage’s “In a Landscape”).
After that series of performances concluded, we decided to release the video/recording here (and on YouTube) so that listeners who weren’t able to experience the performance with video in person could also enjoy the watching/listening journey.
