Still coming down off of all the fun last weekend. I spent every night for a week in this big beautiful yard, listening to classical music, mapping, remapping and doing everything I could to get things just right. Very happy with the result, and very honored for the opportunity to contribute to @artvillenash

Added some new patterns for my baby, CIRCA•LUNA yesterday to make the synchronicity with the phase of the moon a bit more obvious. What a treat it’s been to have this hosted @thepinnaclenashville .
On an extra nerdy note, I’ve set up the telemetry in a way so that I receive messages with motor performance / temperature logs, and it’s created this extra personal layer for me. Texts when she wakes up. Texts when she goes to sleep. Text when a disc is misbehaving. 🥹🤓
Still cannot believe that my team went from concept, to R&D, to build, to install in TWO MONTHS and came out on the other side. I will probably never commit such a large idea to that type of timeline again, BUT I’m very happy I did, this time. 💙📀📀📀

Frank Lloyd Wright’s horizontal lines and organic geometry make for dream projection surfaces. I happily spent the week mapping every corner while @otnes__ tracked music down the hall. Every room was a new inspiration. Also, the new OTNES single written on this trip rules. Looking forward for the art we create in 2026

Last month, I had the pleasure of joining my partner @otnes__ on their writing retreat at this beautiful Frank Lloyd Wright house in Michigan. Nothing elevates projection mapping more than unique architecture with history behind it, so naturally I brought my projectors. This is the first in a series of posts that will feature art we made at the estate, and is accompanied by samples from the new OTNES single that’s nearing release.
Additionally, Emily has collected sounds from around the house and will be making their Frank Lloyd Wright sample pack (mixed by @colinalthaus ) available for sale very soon, so be on the lookout for that if it piques your interest.

Description:
Anteforma captures the instant before an idea takes shape. Brainwave data from the participant directly controls the visuals displayed across an array of vintage CRT monitors, while six cameras feed a looping image of perception reflecting back on itself. The result is a pre-cognitive feedback system — a mind creating its own design, before the thought forms.

From the very beginning of our pARTner Community Series🪺, Jason Brooks has always truly embodied what it means to be in community and support our local artist scene. There hasn’t been an event here at The MadNest that Jason hasn’t helped with in some capacity, where it was lending gear, setting up projection displays, hanging lights, projectors, you name it. I am so grateful for fellow artists and collaborators and friends like Jason. It reminds me I’m not alone, and it feels so validating to have another artist recognize the extreme amount of behind the scenes detail orientation and true grit that is required to bring magic to others, and offer to help.
