Stoss is seeking a motivated, energetic and highly organized Marketing Coordinator / EA for our Boston studio on a full-time basis. We are a creative services firm working in the field of landscape architecture and urban design. This is a key support role to the Senior Director and to the operations, executive, and marketing teams. The successful candidate in this position enjoys working on multiple fronts simultaneously, is detail oriented, has an organizational mindset, and can thrive in a lively design office.
The goal for this role is twofold: First (70-75%), to manage numerous communications, social media, marketing, and business development initiatives, including managing the firm database of contacts through Pipedrive. Tasks would also include occasional assistance with general operations and, as opportunities are available, project report production and model building. Second (25-30%), to assist the Senior Director in scheduling meetings, managing events/conferences, time and expense input, organization for books, talks and other engagements, managing the flow of communication, keeping licenses up to date, and general office support.
You'll have the opportunity to develop your individual skills, hone your ability to manage a variety of administrative and marketing projects, and develop your business development knowledge. We have a friendly, informal and creative culture with people who are passionate about what they do!

This past Saturday, April 25th, we headed to the Jenny Oropeza Community Center for Workshop 2 of the Drake-Chavez Master Plan and Connection projects. It was an incredible morning spent sharing our latest progress and, most importantly, hearing directly from you. Our team shared early design concepts that were built directly from previous feedback before moving into small groups across three interactive stations to dive deep into project-specific details.

Stoss is seeking a Landscape Designer with 3+ years of experience to join our Los Angeles studio. As a Cooper Hewitt National Design Award-winning practice, we engage projects that address climate adaptation, social equity, and the evolution of the public realm.
We're looking for individuals who are collaborative, design focused, and interested in contributing across all phases of work.
In a recent talk, Chris Reed shared work identifying climate risks facing the Sarasota, Florida’s Downtown Bayfront, exploring how rising seas, storms, flooding, and increasing heat are impacting this area and the rgion’s iconic legacy of mid-century houses that embrace landscape and the environment.
The presentation highlighted research developed through the Climate Case seminar at Harvard GSD featuring work by students across the Master in Landscape Architecture, Master of Architecture, Master in Design Studies, and Master in Urban Design programs, who are documenting vulnerabilities and helping frame strategies for protecting these important buildings and landscapes.

Located in the rapidly growing Kendall Square neighborhood in Cambridge, Binney Park is one of three new public open spaces designed by Stoss to expand the local network of parks and connections for residents, workers, and visitors—and dogs!
Situated at a key crossroads, the park supports critical pedestrian and bicycle connections while offering spaces for everyday gathering and recreation. A playful fenced dog area, intimate seating zones, and custom wood terraces create places for both people and pets to connect, relax, and spend time outdoors.
Beneath the surface, the design integrates stormwater infrastructure that exceeds regulatory standards, including porous paving, rain gardens, and underground detention systems that slow and clean runoff.

Located at key crossroads on Brown University’s campus, this project reimagines a historic quad as a more accessible, flexible, and vibrant gathering space. Amphitheater seating, accessible campus connections, and infrastructure for performances support a wide range of activities, from outdoor classrooms and concerts to casual study and everyday campus life.
The design integrates regionally sourced pink granite, climate-adapted plantings, and improved stormwater management- enhancing the quad’s character while supporting long-term resilience.

We're excited to be working on a planning and design initiative with the City of Long Beach on a signature park along the LA River, a soon-to-be expanded green space serving a historically underserved community. The project is made possible through the consolidation and slowing of highway on-ramps, opening up a beautifully canopied lowland to people and activity. The project seeks to improve safety and access for the surrounding neighborhood while exploring ways to improve ecological performance, reduce urban heat, and enhance connections with adjacent river mouth.
