🚨 Your MP is constantly being lobbied by the oil and gas industry. Let’s make sure they’re hearing from the people they’re supposed to serve – us. Political pressure is vital to stop this disastrous project, and dozens of MPs across the political spectrum have already pledged to oppose the field - but we’re fighting against a billion-pound propaganda machine Many MPs signed the pledge after receiving postcards from their constituents, and we’ve just made it even easier for you to send your own. With a Rosebank decision imminent, your MP needs to hear from you that this climate wrecking project cannot go ahead. 👉 Send a postcard now - link @stopcambo bio

BREAKING 📣: Trade Unions call on UK government to reject controversial Rosebank oil field Trade union leaders, representatives and activists from across the UK have warned the Labour government that Rosebank would undermine climate commitments, fail workers long-term, and risk contributing to human rights abuses abroad. Major unions representing firefighters, ambulance staff, network management in gas sector, teachers, nurses, cleaners, civil servants, and more have published the open letter today alongside over 1,900 additional trade unionists, following a year of union climate action backed by the TUC post COP30. The signatories also argue that approving Rosebank will stall the UK’s energy transition and leave Scotland’s oil and gas workers at risk. The UK must focus on the long term wellbeing of workers and invest in the clean energy industries of the future. - creating secure, long-term jobs to support workers to transition. BREAKING 🚨: We're outside the Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh, and Pinsent Masons in Aberdeen, to stand against the Rosebank oil field. Approving Rosebank could send £200 million to Israeli energy giant Delek Group, known to operate in illegal settlements in the West Bank and supply fuel to the Israeli military via subsidiary Delek Israel. This flow of money is thanks to Rosebank co-owner, Ithaca Energy, who are majority-owned by Delek Group. Through this connection, Delek has already make over ONE $BILLION from North Sea oil and gas exploitation. Sign the petition against oil profits for occupation and genocide - link in @stopcambo bio

Legal experts are warning that approving Rosebank could put the UK at risk of breaching international humanitarian law. Ithaca now also wants to open Cambo, the oil field we successfully stopped in 2021. By fuelling the Israeli military and profiting from Israel’s illegal settlements, Delek is contributing to the ongoing violence, dispossession, and genocide faced by Palestinians. ICYMI, tomorrow is David Attenborough’s 100th birthday. Shell's billions are obscene. These are profits from a business driving climate disasters that devastate communities from the UK to the Philippines, boosted by a war that is destroying lives and sending everyday costs soaring. It's time Shell pays its share. Agree? Add your name to support the typhoon survivors taking Shell to court! (Link in bio)

The UK's biggest gas supplier Equinor has announced an eyewatering $9.8bn in pre-tax profits from just the first 3 months of 2026. These profits are another unwelcome reminder of how the current energy system is stacked against ordinary people, who are expected to keep weathering economic shocks brought about by our dependence on fossil fuels. Time and again, global conflict drives up the price of oil and gas - and time and again we pay the price. Instead of more drilling that will profit oil firms and their executives, people want real solutions that will bring down our bills and protect us from future crises. That means investing in clean, homegrown energy and helping households switch from volatile oil and gas to clean electricity to power our lives.

While millions are worrying over energy bills, oil giants like BP are raking in billions. The choice is clear: more drilling and higher bills, or renewables and a more stable and affordable energy system

When oil & gas companies like BP are making eye-watering profits, it can only mean one thing: painfully high energy prices for ordinary people. In this case, not only are those prices a consequence of a catastrophic war, but the UN’s development chief estimates that the knock-on effect on fuel supplies will push 30 million people globally into poverty. It’s beyond time that we left behind oil and gas and an energy system that’s causing so much misery.
