Okay @mysteryquiltshophop hoppers! TWO WEEKS FROM TODAY (Saturday May 23) is the deadline to show your shop hop store your quilted and bound mystery quilt to be entered in the raffle draw. ✈️ We brought back a whole suitcase of raffle prizes from the H & H fabric trade show in Chicago and it's looking a lot like everyone will get a prize. 🏆🎁
I truly didn't think I would be able to top yesterday's name dropping, but day 2 at H +H has been a winner! @missmelodymiller@wattsalot@carolynfriedlander and @iamrashidacolemanhale were all in the same place at the same time and it was PHENOMENAL. Jen Kingwell has got an amazing block of the month coming and we are signing up for it! Minki Kim @zeriano is the cutest thing in the whole place. We caught true quilt royalty @kaffefassettstudio in passing. @zenchic_studio Brigitte is charming and lovely. @fairmountfibers Sarah has the cutest knitted menagerie. We scooped some great patterns at @fishmuseum ! And a new criss cross apron is coming from Mary Mulari!
Day 1 of H+ H Chicago is halfway done. We are here to do some serious name dropping. We chatted with Arne and Carlos about travel woes, #arneandcarlos . I tried to steal a gorgeous quilt from @windhamfabrics but our fast rep slowed my roll. Very serious business with (fresh new haircut Courtney) @kelbournewoolens . Our FOREVER favorite @annamariatextiles was very kind to start her day with our fangirling. Ending our day with @alisonglass and @jessicaswift (after happy hour. sorry not sorry) . Let's not forget about my matchy-matchy shoe situation with @julianatextile ! Headed to the local yarn store meetup for chit chats and pizza!

Our first quilt finisher prize has been claimed. By @mysteryquiltshophop past winner Sara. WHO PLANNED HER WEDDING AROUND OUR SHOP HOP. Don't worry folks, she is getting married next weekend now that she has the quilt done. NO. REALLY. IT'S TRUE.

So. A story in 2 photos. I maybe stressed out Reena with my recent panic purchase of jersey knits from Art Gallery Fabrics. I heard AGF was discontinuing jersey knits and so I late-night bought a bunch of them and I couldn't find them after they arrived and Nick had to show me where some have been living in the warehouse. And then I found more of them behind the counter and when I tried to bring those ones over to the jersey knit section Reena yells "we are gonna need a bigger boat". So. Right now those 8 are still in a cart and another 10 are in the warehouse and probably Monday I will get a few minutes to move things around and get everything out. But maybe not Monday because we have a shop hop coming up and everything is topsy turvy. So. The short version of this story is, we currently have a SECRET STOCK of the VERY LAST of the AGF jersey knits in the warehouse and you can see them in the "garment fabrics" section of our website.
