Without a doubt, this award is a huge honor. There is something incredibly special about being recognized alongside women who have, in many ways, helped shape who I am, women I’ve learned from, admired, and looked up to throughout my career. They say you are a reflection of the people you surround yourself with. This award is a great example of that.
To my mama, my papa, my sister, my papi santos and mama teresa in heaven, and my older siblings — every part of me carries something from you. And to little Justina, thank you for never thinking small and for believing in a bright future you couldn’t yet see.
My greatest hope is to become the kind of mentor that I’ve been so fortunate to have, the way so many have been for me, including my late CEO and boss, John Santoru.

🇵🇪 Peru 🤝🏽 New Mexico
Last week at the National Hispanic Cultural Center, I had the opportunity to be part of a special moment as Peru’s partnership with @nhccnm was formally recognized, with remarks from Consul General Pedro Pablo Delgado Hinostroza and Honorary Consul Trotsky Barreto Unzueta.
As a proud peruana, I was especially excited to bring my little sister with me to experience it! ♥️
We later visited the Albuquerque Convention Center alongside members of the @oneabq Department of Arts & Culture to see the fresco stairwell currently underway by renowned artist Frederico Vigil. When completed this December, it will become the largest fresco stairwell in the country.
As we walked through the space, we were able to see #Peru represented in the work with a feature of a pisco bottle 👏🏼. A bottle of pisco was also gifted to señor Vigil in recognition of that connection.
It means everything to see pieces of mama’s culture represented here in Albuquerque. Truly grateful to have been part of this special day.

The rumors are true — it actually is a life-changing experience. You’re put in rooms with people from all over the state, and you realize how much of New Mexico you’ve never really seen or understood before.
Getting to share the @holmans_usa story with leaders across the state — especially those who hadn’t heard of us before — was one of the most rewarding parts of the experience.
Leadership development is an ongoing journey, and I’ll continue to invest in growing it within myself and supporting it in others. 🤍
