In celebration of the world premiere of Italian Wannabe at the Palm Springs International Film Festival, we’re hosting a pre-screening gathering where we’ll recreate a little Italian piazza right next to the theater.
In association with @ac_homecafe and @mineragua , come listen to the film’s soundtrack, enjoy a non-alcoholic spritz, and maybe even taste some fresh bread by chef Bill Disselhorst.

We look forward to sharing a spritz before the movie 🇮🇹🍷

Some films just feel like family… and seeing Bill with director Steve Dabal behind the scenes is exactly why.
You can tell they’re pouring their whole hearts (and a little flour) into this story.
If you’ve ever dreamed of slowing down, breaking bread, and living life with intention — this is the movie you’ll want to keep an eye on 👀📽️🍞🇮🇹💛

1 year ago today was THE BEST WEEKEND OF MY LIFE. No exaggeration. Impossible to fully explain. We did a second line through an apple orchard, cried under a double rainbow, got blasted at the Miami Boys silent disco, tore through enough barrel-proof whiskey to make a small town go blind… and I MARRIED THE MOST STUNNING GLOWING BALL OF SUNSHINE I’VE EVER LAID EYES ON.
The weekend felt like us. A festival, a blurry line between work and play, laughing with friends from so many different continents, and the fun that lies within the unexpected. Oh so unexpected. Like months of being told it never rains in the orchard, it poured. And that’s how we knew our people were there. The ones who stayed. Who embraced the storm. Who danced in the mud and ate and drank like nothing else mattered. That’s my tribe. That’s what I am the most thankful for having in my life. We stand by each other through the best and the worst.
Maybe I’ll spend this week posting more, just to start unpacking how special every piece of this wedding really was, and the people who made it unforgettable.
For now, here’s just a glimpse. Shot on Super 8 film by my brother @jessemoritz .
This whole wedding was so over the top and financially irresponsible for us. And I WOULD DO IT AGAIN EVERY SINGLE YEAR OF MY LIFE IF I COULD. In the rain. In the mud. Under the rainbows. Because over ten years together has already proven @janinemoody you are the light in my deepest darkest hour. And here’s to the many more storms that end in rainbows.
XOXO
This is a place for strangers to become regulars. A spot for birthdays and breakups, first dates and last rounds. Where every detail was cared about. A second home for the neighborhood.
The seams were still being stitched the day we filmed this— before the first egg roll, the first spill, the first song to wrap around the room.
Now it’s open. At last, Milly’s.
We’ve been quietly filming DJ sets at @cafe.bureau in Brooklyn the past few months for a series called No Bad Days Radio — and they’ve been getting real good. So good that tomorrow we’re opening the doors to film one LIVE.
AC on, speakers up, cameras rolling. Come on by and let’s see what happens.
Getting married in one week and I have learned that people love love - so here’s what it looks like when two kids from Jersey go back to Pasadena and revisit the places where their relationship first began.

You thought that was all?? Not even close. It’s hot bad decision girl summer over here. Because we bought a legendary barrel of whiskey! 💥 💥💥
That’s right. We went to Kentucky with an expert panel of bourbon boys and spent hours searching for the best damn barrel at @wildernesstraildistillery . And let me tell you, we found it. It’s good. Maybe the best in the world. Rob is going to enter it in some competitions so we’ll get back to you on that. Unless you’re a professional whiskey judge, your only chance to try this golden juice from the gods is at @sadieswardnyc or DM for a bottle.
There’s a limited amount so we have to enjoy ‘til the last drop. ALL THE CHIPS ARE IN PEOPLE!!
🥃
🚨 Bad financial decision alert 🚨
Yet again rolling the dice. @sperlingsilver and I bought the world’s best digital cinema camera. Could we afford it? Barely. But it’s all or nothing time on our film careers.
I have 7 different series in development at this point. That feels like a lot, right? They’re from years of building treatments, endless pitching sessions, thousands of emails, and rounds upon rounds of sizzle reels that loop in my dreams. So many “opportunities”
But the cavalry isn’t coming. So with this absurdly expensive box that captures light, it is time for less pitching. More producing.
While I am in a dark room editing, this Alexa Mini is hungry for action and available for rent in New York. As always, friends and family get a discount. Because bad financial decisions are actually smart when you’re investing in yourself…
Right? That’s a thing? Uh oh. You’re not answering. This was a good idea, right?
@gabe_reev . What can I say. This is one of the most genuine and wholesome humans I have the pleasure of knowing. He’s a role model to so many people. Myself included. Not only is he one half of the legendary miami boys, but his work ethic inspires me every time we talk. Or when I see him with his shirt off. The man’s got it all. It’s as if a Dominican Calvin Harris worked at a Jiffy Lube and was mentored by Frank Lloyd Wright. Here’s to your and Réme’s lifetime of love and happiness together.
