Had a great conversation with @matt_boudreau on the @working_class_audio podcast. We covered a lot of ground. DAT tapes, supermarket shifts, and how online mastering became a thing. Episode #595.
Approving a test pressing on my late dad’s 1969 Garrard 401 with an original SME 3009 tonearm. A true classic and still right up there. Lost him recently, but this feels like a fitting reminder in the studio. Every spin on the deck matters a little bit more now.
Jet lag and coffee! Back in the studio after a week over in the States at @thenammshow . It was great catching up with familiar faces, meeting new people, and seeing some lovely new gear. Now it’s straight back to mastering! ☕️
Checking out the @trinnov system at @thenammshow . Obviously not the most ideal place but the results were still impressive. I look forward to testing in my own studio.
