b r e e z e - @thea.thenral 21 and from Copenhagen. I’ve been dancing for most of my life, mainly contemporary and hip hop. After a few years away from dance, where I focused on work and traveling, I spontaneously decided to apply for @hotstepper_dance_education while I was in South America — honestly one of the best decisions I’ve made. At Hotsteppers I’ve learned so much, explored different dance styles, and discovered a huge passion for teaching, choreographing, and dancing commercial. I’ve now become a dance teacher myself and hope to keep growing, improving, and getting more opportunities in the future. My dream is to one day perform as a backup dancer at Roskilde Festival, and I’m definitely working hard towards that goal 🙂‍↕️⭐️ I’m really grateful for everything @karengalsgaard and @joelhotstepper , and all the teachers have taught me. They’ve inspired me to become a stronger dancer and dream even bigger🫶🏾

STEP INTO HDE☀️ Hi! I’m @kajsaericsson1 , 21 y and Im the other half of the Swedish duo✌️ I’ve danced almost my whole life and 10 years ago my teacher introduced me to dancehall. Since then I’ve been obsessed with it. I enjoy the freedom I’m feeling while dancing dancehall and the way I can express myself and my feelings through the dance. So after a decade taking a lot of dancehall classes and workshops with Jamaican dancers I decided to explores new side of me. For some years ago I got obsessed with Afro beats and realised Afro was definitely something for me too. and after that I challenge myself and took some hip hop and street-jazz classes. I’ve been a dance teacher for many years and I would love to start teach again after the education and combine that with my studies. My biggest dream is to share dance happiness and all the knowledge I’ve gained these years. Now during the education I’ve learned even more for instance teaching skills, dance techniques and history etc. I’m exited for what the future holds and I’m open for every opportunity and challenge that comes🫧✨ Fun dance fact about me: During the education at @hotstepper_dance_education I’ve actually entered my first ever dance battle. That was so nerve wracking but sooo fun. And this semester I competed in a Swedish dance competition @youthinkucandance and came 3rd place. I’m so so glad about that and proud that I did it. It wasn’t an easy way. I’ve never been able to do that without my classmates who cheered for me and Karen that helped and supported me! I’m so thankful for the people I’ve met at this education and everything I’ve learned. Thanks to @joelhotstepper @karengalsgaard and all the teachers🫶

STEP INTO HDE🔥 It is time for the @hotstepper_dance_education class of 25/26 to introduce themselves! And I'm first up!🙋🏻‍♂️ Hey!!👋🏻 My name is Andreas, @addemove . I'm 28 years old, and I'm one half of the swedish duo in our class!🇸🇪 I started dancing back in 2018!🕺🏻 While studying music production at a Swedish "folkhögskola" I decided to go to their evening class in hip hop and I LOVED IT! Music had always been a big part of my life, and I had just found a new way of expressing it! I enjoy a lot of different dance styles, but something that have been a big part of my dance journey so far is hip hop and also commercial dance. I love the grooviness, freestyle and bounce of hip hop, but I also love a good synchronized commercial choreo✨ I also really like popping, waacking and afro, and I would love to grow more in those styles!↗️ I love recording dance, and recently bought professional gear to try and work as a videographer!📹 A dream I have in dance is to contribute to making dance a tool for connection, expression and joy. I've seen and felt first-hand what amazing things dance can do, and I want to help create more spaces for that🫶🏻 A little fun fact about me: Before coming to Copenhagen to study dance fulltime, I studied a Bachelor in Biology at Uppsala University!🌱 I love science and nature and hope to work with that as well in the future!🧬 I’m so grateful to the education, our teachers, and to Karen and Joel, for guiding me through my dance journey. I'm learning so much about foundations in different styles, hip hop culture and history, the dance industry and so much more that I had no idea about before. I really feel like I've become a much more aware dancer thanks to HDE!❤️ And on the 6th of June, I'll be performing in our graduation show together with my amazing, kind and talented classmates, at Amager Bio!🌟 Come watch it!!
