I met Deirdre soooo long ago at a @creative_capital Professional Development program for artists. They encouraged us to find accountability partners — preferably someone who lived nearby.
At the time, we both lived downtown. We said “fine,” shook on it… and we’ve been accountability partners ever since.
Checking in on each other’s art. Our business. Our ideas. Our discipline. Our next moves.
I’ve had different accountability groups over the years, but Deirdre has been the longest and most consistent. A real one when it comes to building a sustainable creative life.
