Last year, I worked on a video and integrated marketing campaign in collaboration with @bmwuk and @microsoft for Little Simz “Gorilla”. Today, that campaign as well as the music video directed by @davemeyers received TWO @clioawards Music Awards, Gold for Music Video and Bronze for Integrated Campaign. I’m so incredibly proud of this achievement and for the team who I worked alongside to execute! It’s an honor to have our work acknowledged for its innovation across multiple industries.
Powered by Microsoft Cloud and AI, we created an interactive site that combines imagery, colours and effects to compose a video that is different every time you see it to accompany the release of the official music video. The specific details of the video are selected based on AI-assisted analysis of the song’s lyrics combined with the users’ selection of favourite lyrics and themes. We amplified the online experience with pop-up events, billboards, a Q&A event with @brandonjinx , and various online campaigns.
