A future STEM leader in action š¶š¬
Leeyah Lavallais, a ninth-grade student from St. Mary's Academy and a STEM NOLA Fellow recently appeared on Fox 8 to demonstrate how to build a tonoscope ā an experiment that visually explains the science behind sound waves and music.
Joined by STEM Fellows Manager Ruqayyah Mustafa and Fox 8 news anchor Rob Krieger, the segment highlighted the power of hands-on STEM education and student-led learning.
We are proud to see our students confidently sharing their knowledge and inspiring others through science, technology, engineering, and math.
